Aikaterini Benekou, MD, is a Consultant Hematologist with extensive experience in clinical hematology and the management of hematologic malignancies. She runs a private practice in the center of Athens (Pedion tou Areos). She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and in 2015 was awarded the Medical Specialty Title in Hematology after completing her training at Laiko General Hospital of Athens.

From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a Hematology Registrar/Consultant at Barts NHS Trust in London, gaining substantial experience in the management of hematologic malignancies and advanced therapeutic approaches. Subsequently, from August 2018 to April 2019, she served as a Consultant Hematologist at Northwick Park Hospital in London, where she specialized in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Since 2019, she has been serving as a Consultant Hematologist (Grade A) at Laiko General Hospital of Athens, while since 2020 she has also been a regular member of the National Committee for the Evaluation and Reimbursement of Human Medicines at the Ministry of Health, actively contributing to the assessment of new medicines based on documented clinical data on efficacy and safety, with the goal of integrating them into reimbursed therapies.

Her research and academic activity is rich, including publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at major scientific congresses. Her main scientific interests focus on stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and modern treatment approaches for lymphomas and leukemias.

Η Καπαρού Μαρία είναι Αιματολόγος, Διευθύντρια της Β' Αιματολογικής Κλινικής στο Νοσοκομείο " ΕΡΡΙΚΟΣ ΝΤΥΝΑΝ " και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στον ίδιο χώρο. Είναι απόφοιτη της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού & Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και Διδάκτωρ Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Ειδικεύθηκε στην Αιματολογία στην Αιματολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ηρακλείου της Κρήτης. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της ειδίκευσης της, εργάστηκε ως Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης στην Αιματολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ηρακλείου. Το 2013 έλαβε θέση Επικουρικής Επιμελήτριας Αιματολογίας στο Βενιζέλειο Νοσοκομείο Ηρακλείου, για τις Αιμοσφαιρινοπάθειες, καθώς και για τις Διαταραχές Πήξης και Αιμόστασης. Το 2015 μετέβη στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, όπου εξειδικεύτηκε στην αντιμετώπιση ασθενών με Πολλαπλούν Μυέλωμα και Λεμφοϋπερπλαστικά νοσήματα (post-CCT Fellow in Myeloma and Lymphoma) και στη συνέχεια στη Μεταμόσχευση Αιμοποιητικών Κυττάρων (post-CCT Fellow in BMT) στο νοσοκομείο Birmingham Heartlands, ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα Αιματολογικά Κέντρα του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Από τον Αύγουστο του 2019 έλαβε θέση Διευθύντριας Αιματολογίας στo Πανεπιστημιακό νοσοκομείο του Βirmingham. Αντιμετώπισε και παρακολούθησε μεγάλο αριθμό ασθενών από όλο το φάσμα των αιματολογικών παθήσεων. Διετέλεσε τακτικό μέλος του Αιματολογικού Ογκολογικού Συμβουλίου του νοσοκομείου και ήταν επικεφαλής της Υπηρεσίας Επείγουσας Αντιμετώπισης Ογκολογικών ασθενών. Εκτός από την Κλινική Αιματολογία, εστίασε και στην εφαρμοσμένη κλινική έρευνα. Επιπλέον, της Διδακτορικής της Διατριβής, έχει δημοσιεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό άρθρων σε διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά και έχει συμμετάσχει σε σημαντικό αριθμό κλινικών μελετών. Η συνεχής ενημέρωση - εκπαίδευση στις εξελίξεις στη διαγνωστική προσέγγιση και τη θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση ασθενών με καλοήθεις και κακοήθεις αιματολογικές παθήσεις είναι απαραίτητη για την προσφορά της καλύτερης δυνατής φροντίδας στους ασθενείς. Στόχος της είναι να παρέχει υψηλού επιπέδου εξειδικευμένες υπηρεσίες στον ασθενή, με σεβασμό και γνήσιο ενδιαφέρον για την επίτευξη της καλύτερης έκβασης στο πρόβλημα υγείας που αντιμετωπίζει.

Georgara Eufrosyni is a Hematologist with a private practice near the Ambelokipi metro station. She specializes in the investigation and management of thrombophilia both during pregnancy and in the general population. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She worked as an internal medicine resident at St Barbara Klinik Hamm-Heessen. She completed her two-year pathology residency at Hippocratio General Hospital of Athens (GNA). From 2019 to 2025, she worked in the Hematology Clinic and outpatient hematology department at GNA G. Gennimatas, where she specialized in diseases such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, among others. She specialized in thrombophilia and bleeding disorders at the blood donation clinic of GNA Hippocratio, as well as in hematology of pregnancy, recurrent miscarriages, infertility, etc., at the university hospital Aretaieio. She has also worked with hemoglobinopathies at the Mediterranean Anemia Center at GNA Laiko and received training in bone marrow transplantation and the latest adult CAR-T cell therapies at Laiko Hospital and pediatric therapies at Agia Sofia. She also maintains a thrombophilia and thrombosis clinic within the Athens Bioclinic of the Biomed Group, as well as at the Genesis Athens assisted reproduction center.

Ο Γαλανόπουλος Αθανάσιος ΜD, PhD είναι Αιματολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Είναι Διευθυντής της Αιματολογικής Κλινικής στην Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών.Τελείωσε την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και στη συνέχεια συνέχισε την εξειδίκευσή του στην ειδικότητα της Αιματολογίας στην Πανεπιστημιακή Παθολογική Κλινική του Λαϊκού Νοσοκομείου και στην Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική του Ιπποκρατείου Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών. Στη συνέχεια εργάσθηκε στο ΕΣΥ, αρχικά, σαν Επιμελητής και στη συνέχεια σαν Δ/ντής της Αιματολογικής Κλινικής του ΓΝΑ « Γ.Γεννηματάς».Μετέβη στο FRED HUTCHINSON CANCER RESEARCH CENTER (FHCRC) , στο SEATTLE, USA, για μετεκπαίδευση στις αυτόλογες και αλλογενείς μεταμοσχεύσεις ασθενών με αιματολογικά νοσήματα.Διετέλεσε υπεύθυνος Μονάδος Μεσογειακής Αναιμίας και υπεύθυνος Μονάδος αυτόλογης μεταμόσχευσης αιματολογικών ασθενών στο ΓΝΑ «Γ.Γεννηματάς».Το κύριο ερευνητικό του ενδιαφέρον είναι τα μυελοδυσπλαστικά σύνδρομα και ιδιαίτερα οι νεώτερες ταξινομήσεις – προγνωστικά συστήματα, οι σύγχρονες θεραπευτικές προσεγγίσεις και προγνωστικοί παράγοντες ανταπόκρισης στις νέες θεραπείες. Asimakopoulou Theodora is a Hematologist and maintains private practices in Ampelokipoi and within the Athens Medical Center (in Marousi). She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She served as the Director of the Hematology Clinic at Sismanogleio Hospital for 15 years and was solely responsible for the Short-Term Hospitalization Unit and the Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation department. Additionally, she was the Director of the Blood Bank and Hematology Department at KAT Hospital and served for many years as a consultant within the National Health System (ESY). She has an extensive research and clinical portfolio, with publications in international and Greek scientific journals, and her broad experience focuses on benign and malignant hematological diseases, including their diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring.

Koutsi Aikaterini is a Hematologist who maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi, within the "Errikos Dynan" Hospital Center. She holds a degree from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, as well as a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she has completed postgraduate studies in Hemorrhage and Thrombosis at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. As part of her specialization, she has worked in the Pathology Department of the University Hospital of Brussels, as well as in the Hematology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens. Furthermore, she served as a Scientific Collaborator at the World Histocompatibility Center at the University Hospital of Geneva and as a Second Grade Consultant in the Hematology Clinic at the University Hospital of Geneva. Since 2017, she has concurrently worked as a First Grade Consultant in the Hematology Clinic at the Errikos Dynan Hospital Center. In her practice, she manages cases encountered throughout the spectrum of hematology, specifically lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia.
