Dr. Lazaros Lazarou is a General Surgeon, certified in surgical oncology of the colon and rectum, pancreas, stomach, liver, and thyroid gland, as well as in proctology, with specialized expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures. He maintains a private medical practice in Volos, Greece. He studied and specialized in Germany, where he pursued a career in Surgery. He completed his residency at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery of the University Hospital of Ulm, where in 2007 he obtained his Board Certification in General Surgery and was appointed Consultant Surgeon, while in 2010 he acquired the qualification in Advanced Visceral Surgery. At the same hospital, he also served as Scientific Coordinator and Medical Director, with responsibilities including: coordination of the Visceral Oncology Center (esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, colon and rectum, endocrine glands, peritoneal and other metastases, sarcoma), director of the Oncological–Visceral Tumor Board, delegate for the education of medical students at the Center for Surgical Medicine, transfusion officer of the department, coordinator of the research programs of the Visceral Oncology Center, officer responsible for quality assurance of the Department of General, Visceral, Thoracic and Transplant Surgery, as well as member of the committee of the German Cancer Society responsible for the certification of Centers of Excellence in Visceral and Oncological Medicine. Mr. Lazaros Lazarou returned to Greece with his family, aiming to offer his extensive surgical experience and scientific expertise acquired at leading German and European certified centers where he worked. Στη συνέχεια, εργάστηκε για 9 χρόνια, εκ των οποίων 7 χρόνια ως Επιμελητής Α´ και τα 2 τελευταία χρόνια ως Αναπληρωτής Διευθυντής, σε νοσοκομεία της Γερμανίας. Πιο αναλυτικά, από το 2016-2019 στην ακαδημαϊκή γυναικολογική Κλινική Lüdenscheid του πανεπιστημίου της Βόννης, όπου εργάστηκε ως Επιμελητής Α´ και απέκτησε τον τίτλο της Προχωρημένης Ελάχιστα Επεμβατικής Χειρουργικής (MIC IΙ) και παράλληλα συνέχισε την μετεκπαίδευση του στην Γυναικολογική Ογκολογία και Ουρογυναικολογία. Συνέχισε την καριέρα ως Eπιμελητής Α´, στην πανεπιστημιακή γυναικολογική Κλινική Marien Hospital Witten, ως υπεύθυνος των αναγνωρισμένων κέντρων του εν λόγω νοσοκομείου σύμφωνα με τα γερμανικά πρότυπα: Γυναικολογικής Ογκολογίας και Κολποσκόπησης, Ενδοσκοπικής χειρουργικής, Ουρογυναικολογίας καθώς και κέντρο Κυήσεων υψηλού κινδύνου. Σε αυτό το διάστημα απέκτησε και το Δίπλωμα Koλποσκόπησης της AG-CPC (Γερμανική Εταιρεία Παθολογίας Τραχήλου και Κολποσκόπησης). Για την περαιτέρω εξειδίκευση στη γυναικολογική ογκολογία μετέβη το 2021 ως Επιμελητής Α στην παγκοσμίου φήμης ακαδημαϊκή γυναικολογική ογκολογική κλινική Kliniken Essen Mitte στο Essen, στο πλαίσιο συνεργασίας των δύο νοσοκομείων στο Witten και στο Essen. Η εν λόγω κλινική είναι πρωτοπόρος σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο στην αντιμετώπιση του γυναικολογικού καρκίνου με πάνω από 1200 αμιγώς γυναικολογικές ογκολογικές επεμβάσεις ετησίως χωρίς να προσμετρώνται σε αυτές οι επεμβάσεις μαστού. Ntourakis Dimitrios MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice in Paleo Faliro. He is a Professor of Surgery at the European University of Cyprus and the Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic at Iatriko Paleo Faliro. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the same institution’s Medical School. Additionally, he holds diplomas in Laparoscopic Surgery, Ultrasound, and Ultrasonographic Techniques from the University of Strasbourg, a diploma in Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery from Paris XI University, and a diploma in Colorectal and Anal Surgery from Paris Diderot - Paris VII University. It is also noteworthy that he graduated from the Surgical Leadership Program at the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Konstantina Rekouna is a General Surgeon specialized in Endocrine Surgery, with extensive experience in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens and became a certified general surgeon after successful board examination on 2024, after completion of her specialty training at the General Hospital of Athens "Evaggelismos".
