Έχει διατελέσει εκπρόσωπος των νέων χειρουργών παχέος εντέρου και ορθού της Ευρώπης στην Επιτροπή Μελών του European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP). Έχει εκπαιδευτεί στο Μιλάνο και στη Βιέννη στις τεχνικές TransAnal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TAMIS) και σε όλες τις νεότερες τεχνικές αντιμετώπισης περιεδρικών συριγγίων αντίστοιχα. Το ερευνητικό του ενδιαφέρον αφορά κυρίως τον καρκίνο του ορθού, τη χειρουργική υπό φθορίζουσες ουσίες και τα μεσο-μακροπρόθεσμα αποτελέσματα της λαπαροσκοπικής και ρομποτικής χειρουργικής στις παθήσεις παχέος εντέρου και ορθού. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνος για την Ελλάδα σε περισσότερες από 10 διεθνείς πολυκεντρικές μελέτες με τις αντίστοιχες δημοσιεύσεις σε περιοδικά μεγάλου κύρους όπως τα Lancet, Anaesthesia και British Journal of Surgery. Είναι κριτής σε 11 περιοδικά χειρουργικής και μέλος του εκδοτικού συμβουλίου στα Nature Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Surgery και Colorectal Disease. Έχει συγγράψει πάνω από 120 άρθρα-δημοσιεύσεις σε ξενόγλωσσα περιοδικά με περισσότερες από 2500 αναφορές. Επίσης έχει συμμετάσχει ως ομιλητής σε περισσότερα από 20 Ελληνικά και Διεθνή Συνέδρια και έχει γράψει 2 κεφάλαια συγγραμμάτων χειρουργικής.

Ο Δρ. Παναγιώτης Βούλγαρης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός με πάνω από 35 χρόνια κλινικής και χειρουργικής εμπειρίας και περίπου 5.000 επεμβάσεις. Είναι Διευθυντής της Α' Χειρουργικής Κλινικής του Σισμανογλείου Νοσοκομείου και συνεργάτης του Metropolitan General και του Therapis General Hospital.Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή με βαθμό Άριστα. Υπηρέτησε στο 251 Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αεροπορίας και ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στη Β' Χειρουργική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου «Ευαγγελισμός». Dr. Ioannis Virlos is a General Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Glyfada. He graduated from the Medical School of Alexandroupolis, Democritus University of Thrace, obtaining his medical degree in 1990. In 2000, he earned a Master’s degree in Surgical Sciences (MSc in Surgical Sciences) as well as a Diploma from Imperial College London (Diploma Imperial College), United Kingdom. In 2009, he was awarded a Doctorate (Medical Doctorate) from the University of Manchester, UK.He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd.) since 1998 and of the Intercollegiate Board in Surgery of the United Kingdom (FRCS (Gen Surg)) since 2008. He has received training not only in Greece but also in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Belgium.After completing his military service in 1992, he trained in General Surgery in hospitals in Athens and the United Kingdom between 1992 and 1999, obtaining his specialty title in General Surgery in 1999. From 2002 to 2012, he served as a surgical consultant in hospitals in the UK, Australia, Belgium, and Greece. Specifically, he worked at the following hospitals in the UK: North Middlesex, Arrowe Park, Derriford, Torbay, Exeter, Cheltenham, and North Bristol, as well as at Sir Charles Gairdner University Hospital in Perth, Australia, and Sotiria Hospital in Athens (as Senior Consultant).During the same period, he received advanced training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery and laparoscopic bariatric surgery at Singleton Hospital in Swansea, UK, and Heilighart Ziekenhuis in Roeselare, Belgium.From 2012 to 2021, he worked as a Consultant Surgeon at the following hospitals in the UK: Ealing Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, John Radcliffe & Churchill Hospitals in Oxford, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Northampton General Hospital, and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. He returned to Greece in 2021.Since 2023, Mr. Virlos has been the Director of Surgery at Metropolitan General Hospital in Athens. He also serves as the General Secretary of the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology. Finally, for the period 2025–2028, he will represent Greece at the European Society of Coloproctology.

Georgios Bpagias is a General Surgeon, PhD holder from the Medical School of Athens. He completed his medical studies at the Medical School of Athens with "Excellent" marks and undertook his specialty training in Greece and Germany (university clinics of general surgery and transplantation in Hannover and Essen). Concurrently, he completed his doctoral thesis on short bowel syndrome also with "Excellent" marks, while specializing in minimally invasive colorectal surgery at the University of Strasbourg, with an emphasis on modern laparoscopic techniques. Subsequently, he completed specialization in pelvic floor disorder management at the University of Venice.

In his clinical practice, he manages general surgery cases covering a broad spectrum, from minor procedures and routine laparoscopic surgeries to specialized colorectal and pelvic floor surgeries. His primary concern is responsible and evidence-based consultation on all surgical issues, aiming for appropriate guidance and making safe therapeutic decisions.

He maintains active scientific involvement, participating predominantly as a speaker and trainer in international, as well as pan-European and Greek scientific conferences. Additionally, he is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals indexed in PubMed, reflecting his continuous engagement with scientific documentation and the advancement of surgery.

Mpaltas Ioannis is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He specializes in Minimally Invasive, Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery as well as Colorectal Surgery. Additionally, he has expertise in modern proctologic surgery (hemorrhoids, anal fissure, pilonidal cyst). Dr. Theodoropoulos Dionysios is a General Surgeon with 19 years of extensive experience in a wide range of surgical procedures, including both laparoscopic and open methods. He specializes in laparoscopic excision of the pilonidal cyst, the management and treatment of hemorrhoids, and cholecystectomy procedures. He holds a Diploma of License (MD) from the Medical School of "Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie GR T POPA" and has obtained medical practice licenses in Greece, Sweden, Spain, and Romania. During his General Surgery specialization, he completed advanced training in the Vascular Surgery Department at Konstantopouleio General Hospital and in the Plastic Surgery Department at the Oncology Hospital of Ag. Mousiolis Dimitris MD, MSc, cPhD is a General Surgeon with a private clinic in Ilion. He graduated from the Medical School of Plovdiv University and obtained his specialty in General Surgery from the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis". He holds a postgraduate diploma in Liver - Biliary - Pancreatic Surgery from the Medical Department of Democritus University of Thrace and a Diploma from the Hellenic School of Mastology. Emmanouilidis Mixalis MD MSc FACS is a Surgeon, Senior Consultant of the First Surgical Department at Ygeia Hospital, a Centre of Excellence in Hernia Surgery within the Department of Abdominal Wall Hernia Repair Surgery (SRC).

Alifragkis Aleksandros is a General Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Vrilissia. He holds a medical degree from the University of Padova in Italy and specialized in General Surgery at the Attikon General Hospital "Sismanogleio" in Athens. The doctor specializes in laparoscopic tissue suturing and has attended training seminars organized by the Hellenic Surgical Society for several years. Dr. Tsilividis Vasileios is a General Surgeon specializing in Oncological, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgery, with extensive experience in university and private clinics in France and Greece, having performed over 3,500 surgeries.

He graduated from the French School of Athens and continued his studies at the Medical School of René Descartes University in Paris. There, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and subsequently obtained numerous university diplomas in France, including specializations in gastrointestinal surgery, oncological surgery, and bariatric surgery. He is also a member of the Hellenic Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology.

His professional career began at the University Hospital of Rouen, where he served as a resident, registrar, and later as a hospital physician. Since 2017, he has worked in clinics in France primarily focusing on General, Laparoscopic, Bariatric, and Oncological surgery, utilizing minimally invasive techniques. Currently, he provides his services at the Athens Medical Center in Marousi and Peristeri.

Dr. Tsilividis has participated in numerous scientific conferences and seminars, published papers in international medical journals, and undertaken educational roles at the university level.
