Christos Pournaras was born and raised in Athens, where he completed his studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2006. He subsequently engaged in primary research at the laboratory of the University Urology Clinic of Munich (TUM), where he also obtained his dissertation. He then specialized in Urology at the 1st University Urology Clinic of the University of Athens at LAIKO hospital. During his tenure at the aforementioned clinic, he participated as a researcher in international clinical studies. He completed the Greek and European specialty examinations in 2015. In 2016, he moved to the United Kingdom for further training in Endourology. Since 2019, he has been working with the team of the Andrology Center of Crete, where his areas of expertise, in addition to general urology and endourology, include andrology. From 2021 to 2022, he served as a urology consultant at the 7th Urology Clinic of Metropolitan General in Athens.
