Διαθέτει πάνω από 23 χρόνια επαγγελματικής εμπειρίας στο χώρο των εξαρτήσεων και της ψυχικής υγείας. Μετά το πέρας των σπουδών της εργάστηκε ως Ψυχολόγος στο Δημοτικό Γηροκομείο Λάρισας και στον Οργανισμό βρεφονηπιακών σταθμών του Δήμου Λάρισας. Στη συνέχεια, εργάστηκε για 21 συνεχόμενα έτη ως θεραπεύτρια και σύμβουλος τοξικοεξαρτήσεων στο ΚΕΘΕΑ (Κέντρο Θεραπείας Εξαρτημένων Ατόμων) σε Λάρισα και Αθήνα, όπου ανέλαβε τον σχεδιασμό, τη διεξαγωγή και το συντονισμό ατομικών, ομαδικών και οικογενειακών θεραπευτικών συνεδριών, καθώς και την ενημέρωση και προετοιμασία ενεργών χρηστών ώστε να λάβουν θεραπεία. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτών των ετών συμμετείχε σε μεγάλο αριθμό ημερίδων, σεμιναρίων και εκπαιδεύσεων εντός και εκτός ΚΕ.Θ.Ε.Α. μεταξύ των οποίων στη Δυναμική ομάδων και στο Γενεόγραμμα. Η εμπειρία της στο χώρο της απεξάρτησης υπήρξε ένας χώρος αλλαγής και συνεξέλιξης για εκείνη, καθώς απέκτησε εκτενή κλινική εμπειρία και βαθιά κατανόηση των σύνθετων αναγκών των εξαρτημένων ατόμων και των οικογενειών τους.

Η πολυετής εμπειρία της στο ΚΕ.Θ.Ε.Α. της δίδαξε πολύτιμες δεξιότητες, όπως η ενσυναίσθηση, η αποδοχή, η κατανόηση των βαθύτερων αιτιών που κρύβονται πίσω από τις δυσκολίες κάθε ανθρώπου, καθώς και τον αμέριστο σεβασμό στην προσωπική του προσπάθεια για αλλαγή.
