Volonakis Ioannis MD, FEBU is a Urologist - Andrologist who maintains a private practice in Heraklion, Crete. He holds a medical degree from the "La Sapienza" University in Rome and is specialized in Urology, having trained at Venizeleio Hospital of Heraklion and the University Hospital of Heraklion. During his career, he has served as an Assistant Consultant at the General Hospital of Chania. Currently, in his private practice, he manages conditions and provides services covering the entire spectrum of his specialty, including prostate diseases, erectile dysfunction, and prostate cancer. Dr. Vazakis Ioannis is a Urologist - Andrologist who maintains private practices in Sitia (Crete) as well as in Athens (Petroupoli). He graduated from the Seconda Universita di Napoli in Italy and completed his military service as a rural physician at the General Hospital of Sitia, assigned to the hospital's surgical clinic. Subsequently, he trained in various surgical specialties, including endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery, and surgical trauma, while also participating in the activities of the hospital's Emergency Department. Additionally, at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Agios Dimitrios," he trained as a surgical resident. He then followed the daily program of the University Urology Clinic at Laiko Hospital and later began his specialization in urology as a resident at the 1st IKA Hospital (former Papadimitriou Hospital). After the closure of the 1st IKA Hospital (former Papadimitriou), the clinic was transferred to the General Oncology Hospital of Kifisia "Agioi Anargyroi," where he completed his urology training. Since 2017, he has been working at the same hospital as an Assistant Consultant B in the Urology Clinic.
