Επιστημονικοί υπεύθυνοι του κέντρου είναι ο Γεώργιος Ποδόγυρος, BSc Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates Instructor, CKTP και ο Ηλίας Ασημάκης, BSc Physiotherapy, OMPT, Cert Acu, δύο φυσικοθεραπευτές με ισχυρό ακαδημαϊκό υπόβαθρο, πολυετή κλινική εμπειρία και συνεχή επιμόρφωση.

Ο Γιώργος Ποδόγυρος είναι απόφοιτος του University of East London (BSc Physiotherapy) με κατεύθυνση στη μυοσκελετική/ορθοπεδική φυσικοθεραπεία. Είναι εξειδικευμένος στη θεραπευτική άσκηση και Clinical Instructor στο Pilates, ενώ διαθέτει πιστοποιήσεις στον βιοϊατρικό βελονισμό και την ξηρά βελόνα, στο Manual Therapy, στη θεραπεία μυοπεριτονιακού πόνου, στην τεχνική ERGON (IASTM) και στο Kinesio Taping. Έχει εργαστεί στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (St John’s Wood Physiotherapy & Kensington Physiotherapy), στο κέντρο αποκατάστασης «Φιλοκτήτης» σε νευρολογικά περιστατικά, καθώς και στο ΙΑΣΩ General σε μετεγχειρητική αποκατάσταση.

Ο Ηλίας Ασημάκης είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Φυσικοθεραπείας Στερεάς Ελλάδας και τακτικό μέλος του Πανελλήνιου Συλλόγου Φυσικοθεραπευτών. Από το 2022 φέρει τον διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο τίτλο Ειδικού Μυοσκελετικού Φυσικοθεραπευτή (OMPT), πιστοποιημένο από την IFOMPT, ενώ είναι και πιστοποιημένος Ειδικός Βελονισμού από το Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής. Dr. Kormpakis Ioannis is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Traumatologist. He is the Director of the Orthopedic Clinic at Metropolitan General and the Director of the Upper Limb and Microsurgery Clinic. Since 2018, he has held a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has specialized training from Washington University in the United States of America in Arthroscopic and Microsurgery of the Upper Limb (Shoulder - Elbow and Hand), Peripheral Nerves - Brachial Plexus as well as Ankle and Foot Surgery. Dr. Kormpakis Ioannis maintains private practices in Chalandri and Acharnes and performs numerous surgical procedures across a broad spectrum of Orthopedic and Traumatology conditions at private hospitals with which he collaborates (Metropolitan General, Therapis General, Athens Bioclinic, Medical Center, Mediterraneo Hospital). Spyridon Kseinis is an Orthopedic Surgeon maintaining private clinics in Pefki and Psychiko. He is the Deputy Director of the 1st Clinic of Sports Injuries at METROPOLITAN GENERAL and holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since May 2014, awarded with the grade "Excellent." Since 2008, he has collaborated with the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) and serves as the physician for the National Futsal Team. Concurrently, he is UEFA-accredited, having completed the "UEFA Football Doctor Education Programme." He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Since 2021, he has been a Collaborating Surgeon at the A’ Orthopedic Clinic of the Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki and a direct collaborator of Dr. Stylianos Kapetanakis in the Spine & Deformities Department. Athanasiou Martha is a Physiotherapist. She holds a degree from the Department of Physiotherapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Patras and completed her clinical practice at the Attica General Hospital KAT. She is specialized in exercise, certified as a Pilates Instructor (AF Studies - PMA), in Clinical Pilates (KEDIVIM Epimorfosis - EOPPEP), and as a Personal Trainer (HNFC - NASM). Additionally, she holds a diploma in Biomedical Acupuncture from the University of West Attica and has been trained in Manual Therapy at a school certified by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT), deepening her expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders. Currently, she is a postgraduate student at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, enrolled in the program "Algology: Pain Management - Diagnosis and Treatment - Pharmacological, Interventional, and Other Techniques," aiming at the treatment of acute and chronic pain. She has worked in physiotherapy centers, private clinics, and provided home-based therapies. Her goal is the management and treatment of acute and chronic pain through a holistic and individualized physiotherapeutic approach. Holargos Physio Center - Fotiadis Panagiotis is located in Holargos. Fotiadis Panagiotis was born in Piraeus and was an athlete in the Drapetsona basketball team, with a preliminary selection in the national team squad. He studied physiotherapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia, attended numerous seminars, and specialized in McKenzie and Bobath techniques. Gatos Giorgos, MD, MSc, is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist with expertise in Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder and Knee Surgery, Sports Injuries, Reconstructive Surgery, and modern combined Biological therapies.
