Υπηρέτησε ως επικουρικός επιμελητής στη Γενική Νοσοκομειακή Μονάδα Σπάρτης. Με στόχο τη διαρκή επιστημονική εξέλιξη, μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο στη Χειρουργική Γόνατος, στο Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital και στο Lister Hospital in Stevenage, όπου διατηρεί έως σήμερα ενεργό ρόλο ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης.
