Κατόπιν επιτυχούς ολοκλήρωσης της μετεκπαίδευσης του, διατέλεσε επί τριετίας επιμελητής Γαστρεντερολογίας στο Guys & St. Thomas Hospital, εξειδικευμένο κέντρο αναφοράς για τις ιδιοπαθείς φλεγμονώδεις νόσους εντέρου (ΙΦΝΕ - νόσο του Crohn και Ελκώδη Κολίτιδα) στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία, όπου απέκτησε εκτεταμένη εμπειρία στην διαχείριση ασθενών με ΙΦΝΕ. ​Από το 2018 έως και το 2023 εργάστηκε ως Επιμελητής γαστρεντερολογίας στη Γαστρεντερολογική κλινική του Southend University Hospital, Mid & South Essex Foundation Trust, όπου και διατέλεσε επιστημονικά υπεύθυνος του τμήματος ΙΦΝΕ (Ιδιοπαθείς Φλεγμονώδεις Νόσοι Εντέρου) με ενεργό συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα.
