Το 2005, με την επιστροφή του από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Νορβηγία, εντάχθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση και τη Λαπαροσκοπική - Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική. Το 2005 ιδρύει το ιδιωτικό κέντρο Αναπαραγωγής “gonimotis” στην Αθήνα. Από το 2005 έως σήμερα εργάζεται συνεχώς στη μονάδα Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής του ΜΗΤΕΡΑ. Διετέλεσε Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος της Μονάδας Εξωσωματικής ΜΗΤΕΡΑ IVF από το 2012 έως το 2013 και από το 2015 έως το 2017. Το 2017 είχε την τιμή να εκλεγεί Τακτικό Ακαδημαϊκό Μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Επιστημών (Euromediterranean Academy of Sciences). Το 2018, η σταθερή του δέσμευση στη ζωή τον ώθησε να γίνει μέλος της Ιατρικής Γυναικολογικής Ομάδας IVF της HOPEgenesis που προσπαθεί να ανατρέπει το κλίμα της υπογονιμότητας-υπογεννητικότητας στην Ελλάδα. Είναι Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος Μονάδας της Υποβοηθούμενης Αναπαραγωγής του Νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και μέλος του Επιστημονικού Συμβουλίου του ίδιου Νοσοκομείου. Ο Δρ. Ιωαννίδης είναι μέλος πολλών διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών όπως η Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Ανθρώπινης Αναπαραγωγής και Εμβρυολογίας (ESHRE) και η Αμερικανική Εταιρεία Αναπαραγωγικής Ιατρικής (ASRM). Έχει διαρκές επιστημονικό έργο είτε ως διοργανωτής πολλαπλών συνεδρίων που αφορούν την Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση ή ως προσκεκλημένος διεθνής ομιλητής.

Dr. Theodoropoulos Dionysios is a Proctologist with 19 years of extensive experience in a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open methods. He specializes in laparoscopic excision of pilonidal cysts and the management and treatment of hemorrhoids. He holds a medical degree ("Diploma de Licensa," Diploma of License MD) from the "Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie GR T POPA" Medical School and has obtained professional licenses to practice in Greece, Sweden, Spain, and Romania. Within the scope of his specialization in General Surgery, he completed advanced training in the Vascular Surgery Department of the Konstantopouleio General Hospital and in the Plastic Surgery Department of the Oncology Hospital Agioi Anargyroi. At Konstantopouleio General Hospital, he served as the primary surgeon or first assistant surgeon in a wide range of surgical procedures using both laparoscopic and open techniques. He has worked in the Emergency Department and has been responsible for the postoperative care and treatment of patients with liver and pancreatic cancer. He manages numerous cases by leveraging his scientific expertise and extensive experience, always focusing on delivering the highest quality of care tailored to the individualized needs of each patient he treats.
