He earned his Medical Degree from the Medical School of the University of Modena, Italy, and specialized in Urology as a fellow of the Hellenic Urological Association, training at various hospitals in the United Kingdom with a focus on urinary incontinence urodynamics, urethroplasty, and reconstruction of the lower urinary tract. Additionally, he specialized in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in Strasbourg, France. He has been awarded by the Urological Association for an innovative urethroplasty technique and has presented his work on innovative laser focal therapy for prostate cancer in the Netherlands, Japan, Washington, and Los Angeles.
