Οι ενδοσκοπήσεις, (διαγνωστικές ή επεμβατικές), διενεργούνται με καταστολή υπό συνεχές monitoring όπως επιβάλλουν οι διεθνείς κατευθυντήριες οδηγίες και τα πρωτόκολλα καταστολής, καθώς το ιατρείο φέρει όλον τον εξοπλισμό που απαιτείται για την ασφάλεια του ασθενούς.

In her private practice, she addresses the full spectrum of Gastroenterology (e.g., Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, Helicobacter pylori infection, GERD, dyspepsia, etc.) and performs gastroscopies and colonoscopies using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring painless and safe procedures.

Kapoulas Spyros is a General Surgeon and maintains his private practice in Panorama. He holds a Medical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Doctorate from the same University. Ntourakis Dimitrios MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice in Paleo Faliro. He is a Professor of Surgery at the European University of Cyprus and the Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic at Iatriko Paleo Faliro. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the same institution’s Medical School. Additionally, he holds diplomas in Laparoscopic Surgery, Ultrasound, and Ultrasonographic Techniques from the University of Strasbourg, a diploma in Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery from Paris XI University, and a diploma in Colorectal and Anal Surgery from Paris Diderot - Paris VII University. It is also noteworthy that he graduated from the Surgical Leadership Program at the Harvard Medical School. He initially specialized at Korgialeneio - Benakeio Hospital of the Hellenic Red Cross and subsequently continued his training at the University of Strasbourg, France, where he later served as Chef de Clinique des Universités. Finally, he has participated in numerous conferences and courses and has an extensive number of publications in international scientific journals. Perrakis Euaggelos MD, PhD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Aigaleo. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He collaborates with various private healthcare facilities in Athens, such as the Athens Medical Center, and was the first to introduce the technique of complete mesocolic excision (CME) for the surgical treatment of colon cancer in Greece. He has taught at the University of Düsseldorf in Germany and has worked for over 10 years in major surgical centers in Germany. Additionally, he developed his own techniques for the repair of inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias, and Spigelian hernias, which have been accepted by the European and global surgical communities. Λαπατσάνης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός με εξειδίκευση στη Μεταβολική και Βαριατρική Χειρουργική, καθώς και στη χειρουργική του ανωτέρου πεπτικού συστήματος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Ιλίσια.Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων το 1990 με βαθμό Άριστα και ειδικεύτηκε στη Χειρουργική στο Γ.Ν.Α. «Ο Ευαγγελισμός», όπου απέκτησε τον τίτλο του Χειρουργού το 1996. Tzannetakou Ksanthippi is a Gastroenterologist who maintains a private practice in Kolonaki. She studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Gastroenterology at the General Hospital of Athens “Evangelismos.” Additionally, she is an Attending Physician at the B' Gastroenterology Clinic of Iaso Hospital. Finally, she specializes in Endoscopic Gastroenterology (diagnostic and interventional endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract), anorectal diseases (cauterization of warts, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases), idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases, and endoscopic treatment of obesity (gastric balloon, gastric Botox).

Ioanna Papadopoulou is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Cholargos and Glyfada. She performs exclusively laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as all types of abdominal wall hernias. She received her Medical Degree from the “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2012. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Messinia – Kyparissia Nursing Unit in 2013–2014. In 2021, she obtained her surgical specialty certification.

During her specialty training, she served at the 417 Army Fund Nursing Institution (N.I.M.T.S), where she specialized in advanced laparoscopic surgery for malignant colon diseases, obesity, reflux, and hernias, as well as thyroid malignancies. Additionally, at the Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, she participated in a large volume of colon and thyroid cancer surgeries. Considering that the present of surgery lies in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, she attended advanced laparoscopic seminars organized by ELPEN under the auspices of the Hellenic Surgical Society from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, she completed further training in Surgical Oncology, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Finally, in 2023, she received additional training in the latest methods for managing complex diaphragmatic hernias and reflux at the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery in Malta.

Pappa Persefoni is an Otolaryngologist who maintains private practices in Kypseli and Chalandri. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in the Otolaryngology Clinic of the General Thoracic Diseases Hospital "Sotiria" from 2003 to 2008, when she obtained her Otolaryngology specialty certification from the Athens Prefecture. To date, she is a permanent Associate Physician at the private hospital "Hygeia". Additionally, Dr. Pappa has numerous presentations at conferences in her field and is a member of the Hellenic Rhinologic Society, the European Rhinologic Society, and the Athens Medical Association.

Dr. Παναγιωτόπουλος K. Γεώργιος MD, MSc, ΜΑud/Notol, ΑSCP (VSD), AuD, PhD είναι Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στα Βριλήσσια. Αποφοίτησε από την Στρατιωτική Ιατρική (ΣΣΑΣ) λαμβάνοντας το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο της Θεσσαλονίκης το 1994. H Ανδριανάκου Γεωργία MD, MSc είναι Γαστρεντερολόγος – Ηπατολόγος – Επεμβατική Ενδοσκόπος και διατηρεί το ιδιωτικό της ιατρείο στη Νέα Κηφισιά. Επιπρόσθετα, το 2021 παρακολούθησε επιτυχώς το Ενδοσκοπικό Σχολείο, υπό την αιγίδα της Ελληνικής Γαστρεντερολογικής Εταιρείας. Το 2022 έλαβε τον τίτλο της Ιατρικής Ειδικότητας της Γαστρεντερολογίας – Ηπατολογίας. Mosxovis Dimitris is a Gastroenterologist and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of Athens, with a private practice in Aigaleo. Concurrently, he serves as a Scientific Collaborator at the Medical Athens Clinic Peristeri. He studied at the Medical School of the University of Brescia in Italy and subsequently completed postgraduate studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens. He has been a Scientific Collaborator at the 2nd Oncology Clinic of the "Hygeia" Hospital, as well as at Pathology and Nephrology Clinics of the "Medical Athens" group. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad, with many presentations to his credit. Additionally, he has an extensive number of publications in Greek and foreign journals. Finally, he has active involvement, to date, as a researcher in numerous international multicenter clinical studies.

Magklaras Ilias is an Otolaryngologist and maintains a private practice in Melissia. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Gastroenterologist – Hepatologist M.D.

I am Alexandros Spyrantis, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist M.D., with a private practice in Ilioupoli, Athens. I am also a Gastroenterologist Associate at the 1st Department of Gastroenterology and Interventional Endoscopy at IASO General Clinic.

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Latvia in Riga and subsequently completed my specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Greece. My specialist training included the Hepato-Gastroenterology Department of G.O.N.K. “Agioi Anargyroi”, as well as clinical training at the Gastroenterology Department of General Hospital of Nikaia “Agios Panteleimon”. Prior to specialising in Gastroenterology, I trained in Internal Medicine, gaining broad clinical experience in the overall assessment and management of patients.

Gastrointestinal endoscopy is a particular area of professional interest. I have completed the Hellenic Gastroenterology Society’s Endoscopy School and have participated in hands-on training in invasive endoscopic techniques. I also regularly participate in scientific conferences and educational programmes in Greece and abroad, with a focus on Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy.

In my clinical practice, I assess and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, indigestion, gastritis, Helicobacter pylori infection, peptic ulcer disease, abdominal pain, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhoea and changes in bowel habits. I also evaluate gastrointestinal bleeding, colorectal polyps, diverticular disease and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as liver and biliary disorders.

I place particular emphasis on careful history-taking and a structured diagnostic approach. I believe that patients should clearly understand what may be causing their symptoms, why a particular investigation is recommended and what the next steps should be.

For this reason, I aim to give each patient sufficient time to discuss their symptoms, concerns and expectations. I explain the diagnosis and available treatment options in clear and understandable terms, while tailoring the medical approach to each individual patient.

My approach combines current medical knowledge with personalised care. I believe that effective medical care should take into account not only the clinical findings and scientific evidence, but also the individual needs and circumstances of each patient.

Alongside my clinical work, I maintain an active interest in medical research and continuing professional education. I have participated in scientific studies, presentations and posters at Greek and international conferences, with topics including inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, gastrointestinal endoscopy and a range of gastrointestinal conditions.

My aim is to provide patients with medical care that combines scientific expertise, careful diagnostic assessment, up-to-date knowledge and clear, compassionate communication.

For me, good medical care does not end with establishing a diagnosis. It also means providing clear information, an appropriate management plan and building a relationship of trust between doctor and patient.

Kanioura Eutyxia is an Otolaryngologist maintaining a private practice in Kallithea. Finally, she participates in numerous conferences related to Otolaryngology and provides her services at her private practice with a primary focus on the management of various Otolaryngological disorders.

Maria-Theodora Koutroumpi, MD, MSc, is a Gastroenterologist – Interventional Endoscopist with a private practice in Patima, Halandri. She is an affiliated Consultant at the 2nd Gastroenterology Clinic of YGEIA Hospital. Additionally, she performs endoscopies at Affidea Kifisia (contracted with EOPYY) and the private REA clinic. She has significant clinical and endoscopic experience, having performed over 1,600 endoscopies during her specialty training at the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas," and she has also worked as a resident Physician at the General Hospital of Nafplio. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and holds an MSc from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Human Neoplastic Disease. She participates in international conferences and has been trained in modern endoscopic techniques, such as gastric capsule endoscopy. She has a particular interest in idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases and interventional endoscopy, emphasizing a personalized and humane approach to each patient.
