Ασχολείται με όλο το φάσμα της τραυματολογίας, με ειδίκευση στην αντιμετώπιση σύνθετων καταγμάτων και των επακόλουθων καταστάσεων τους. Αφού συγκέντρωσε μεγάλη χειρουργική εμπειρία και όγκο περιστατικών, απέκτησε, το 2018, τον τίτλο της εξειδικευμένης τραυματοχειρουργού, από τον αντίστοιχο ιατρικό σύλλογο της Βόρειας Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας. Στην συνέχεια ξεκίνησε να συνεργάζεται στενά με την εργατική ομοσπονδία της Γερμανίας (Berfufsgenossenschaft) ως D-Ärztin, στην αντιμετώπιση και περίθαλψη ατόμων με εργατικά ατυχήματα. Είναι εκπαιδεύτρια στο Advanced Trauma Life Support Course (ATLS) από το 2016, και από το 2011 δραστηριοποιείται ως γιατρός επειγόντων (Notärztin) στα ασθενοφόρα του αντίστοιχου γερμανικού ΕΚΑΒ. Το 2021 ξεκίνησε να ασχολείται παράλληλα με την χειροπρακτική (Manuelle Medizin/Manual Therapy) και το 2022 έλαβε την πιστοποίηση ως χειροπρακτικός από την αντίστοιχη γερμανική εταιρεία (MWE & DGMM, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Manuelle Medizin). She is certified in Medical Acupuncture and has completed numerous postgraduate training programs. She has served as a Sports Physician for the Infrastructure departments of Panathinaikos FC and has worked as a Physician at Asklipieio Voula Hospital, the Athens Naval Hospital, and the P & A Kyriakou Children's Hospital. Papaioannou Xristoforos is an Orthopedic Surgeon and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Freiburg, Germany, with a private practice in Agia Varvara.
