Dr. Maria-Irini Kourakou is a practicing ophthalmologist based in Cholargos, Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2004–2010), and later completed a Master’s Degree in Medical Imaging in Ophthalmology at the Democritus University of Thrace (2018–2023).She began her professional career with a clinical residency at Hospital Bellvitge in Barcelona, Spain (2012–2013), gaining valuable experience in a high-level international medical environment. Ο Σαϊτάκης Γιώργος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Νέα Ερυθραία. Εισήχθη στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών κατόπιν Πανελληνίων εισαγωγικών εξετάσεων. Διετέλεσε υπότροφος του «Γερουλακείου Ιδρύματος» καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της εξαετούς φοίτησης στην Ιατρική Σχολή, ως αριστούχος εισακτέος και ακολούθως, ως φοιτητής (2005-2011). Μετά από πανευρωπαϊκές εξετάσεις στο Παρίσι, απέκτησε τον τίτλο του “Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology, FEBO“. Ακόμη, τον Μάρτιο του 2018, έλαβε την υποτροφία του καθηγητή Οφθαλμολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου του Harvard "E. Εν συνεχεία, το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2019-2020, εξειδικεύτηκε στον τομέα της Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας (διάρκεια Fellowship 1 έτος) ως προσκεκλημένος Neuro-Ophthalmology International Fellow στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Harvard, στο νοσοκομείο Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, στην Βοστώνη των ΗΠΑ, υπό την καθοδήγηση των παγκοσμίου φήμης καθηγητών Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Harvard, Dr Joseph Rizzo III και Dr Dean Cestari. Κατά την παραμονή του στις ΗΠΑ, o κος Σαϊτάκης συμμετείχε με εργασίες στο Συνέδριο Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας της Βορείου Αμερικής (NANOS) και ανέλαβε ερευνητικά projects στο πεδίο της νευρο-οφθαλμολογικής προσβολής στην ‘’IgG4-related disease’’, συνεργαζόμενος με τον φημισμένο καθηγητή Ρευματολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου του Harvard, Dr John Stone. Είναι κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος (MSc) «Οπτική και Όραση» του Βαρδινογιάννειου Εργαστηρίου Μεταμοσχεύσεων και Μικροχειρουργικής του Οφθαλμού (IVO) και της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης, αποφοιτώντας από το διετές πρόγραμμα με τον υψηλότερο βαθμό. Professor Petroutsos Georgios MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with private practices in Athens and Kifisia. He possesses extensive experience in corneal diseases, dry eye syndrome, rheumatic eye disorders, and glaucoma. After his three-year stay in France, he worked for various periods at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. He returned from abroad in 1985 and was appointed Chief Ophthalmologist Grade A at the Athens Eye Hospital. From 1986, he worked at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor until 1992. He gained particular expertise in Sjogren’s syndrome through collaboration with the Internal Medicine Clinic and Professor Ch. Moutsopoulos. He has authored three dissertations, over 50 foreign-language scientific publications, and more than 150 Greek publications. From 1992, he served as Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Blue Cross for fifteen years. He currently performs surgery at the specialized Ophthalmology Clinic Hypapanti tou Christou.

Dr. Miraxtsis Theodoros MD, PhD is an Ophthalmic Surgeon - Military Physician and Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the 424 General Army Hospital of Thessaloniki, with a private practice in Thessaloniki. Tzanetakou Eimarmeni is an Ophthalmologist at the Private Multi-Clinic Iazo in Chaidari. She holds a medical degree from the University of CRAIOVA Medical School.
