He completed his doctoral dissertation at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland (USA). He began his specialization in Rheumatology in London. Cyriax's team for the consolidation and dissemination of Orthopedic Pathology and to engage in the biomechanical pathophysiology of the spinal column, the scientific foundation of osteopathy (manipulation), and injection therapy of the joints and spine. He served for five years as Director of the Rheumatology Department at NIEE and currently serves as a scientific collaborator at the University of Athens. He founded the "Low Back Pain and Spinal Column Clinic" at the University of Athens, which he transferred to the private sector under the name "Institute of Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, and Spinal Column," where he focuses on the conservative non-surgical treatment of spinal diseases, the publication of related articles, and the organization of seminars. Ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του πορεία σε κέντρα αποκατάστασης, όπου ασχολήθηκε κυρίως με τη μετεγχειρητική αποκατάσταση και την επαναφορά της λειτουργικής κινητικότητας ασθενών συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στη βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής τους. Στη συνέχεια, ανέλαβε θέση επιστημονικού υπευθύνου σε φυσικοθεραπευτήριο για διάστημα δύο ετών με κύριο αντικείμενο την αξιολόγηση και αποκατάσταση αθλητών καθώς και τη διαχείριση μυοσκελετικών παθήσεων στον ενήλικο πληθυσμό.
