Physiotherapist with experience in Cervical spondylosis in Kallithea

Stamatiou Dauid-Aggelos and Malama Andromachi are specialized physiotherapists and have been operating the physiotherapy clinic ActivePhysioCenter in Kallithea, Attica, since 2019. We are graduates of the Department of Physiotherapy at the Athens University of Applied Sciences (ATEI). Subsequently, we specialized at the Association of Manual Therapists Physiotherapists of Greece (S.F.X.E.-I.F.O.M.T.) in Manual Therapy - Chiropractic methods and Dry Needling, and in Biomedical Acupuncture (EFEA), respectively. At the ActivePhysioCenter Physiotherapy Clinic, we aim for a holistic approach to musculoskeletal and neurological cases, relying on careful and thorough patient history-taking and evaluation to ensure that the therapeutic approach is targeted and individualized.

Gerasimos Kavvadias is a Physiotherapist and the scientific director of the Model Physiotherapy Center “Anelixis Physio Clinic” in Kallithea. He graduated from the Physiotherapy department of the Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece and completed his internship at the Asklepieio Hospital of Voula. Concurrently, he is attending the postgraduate training program for Physiotherapists of the Hellenic OMT Diploma. Additionally, he has worked as a Physiotherapist in private physiotherapy clinics in Athens, focusing on musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation. He has also collaborated with a private physiatry medical practice and a sports club. At Anelixis Physio Clinic, musculoskeletal problems are approached by applying specialized techniques, such as the Mulligan therapeutic approach and the McKenzie method.

Η Λιανού Κατερίνα είναι Φυσικοθεραπεύτρια , Επιστημονικά Υπεύθυνη και Συνιδρύτρια του Πρότυπου Κέντρου Φυσικοθεραπείας " JP FITNESS " στην Καλλιθέα, από το 2018 έως και σήμερα. 

Ήταν συνιδρύτρια και επιστημονική υπεύθυνη του Πρότυπου Κέντρου Φυσικοθεραπείας “Κίνηση & Θεραπεία” από το 2004 έως και το 2017.

Είναι βασική καθηγήτρια : της “Studio One Sports & Fitness School, με αντικείμενο: την Αθλητική Tραυματιολογία, Ανατομία και Εμβιομηχανική από το 2010 έως και σήμερα στα διπλώματα Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga.

Ήταν βασική καθηγήτρια : στη σχολή “Athens Yoga” με αντικείμενο ανατομία και κινησιολογία στο δίπλωμα της Yoga από το 2012 έως και το 2019 και βασική καθηγήτρια σε workshops με θέμα Myofascial Release And Trigger Point Therapy από το 2016 έως και σήμερα.

Έχει συμμετάσχει στην συγγραφή του εγχειριδίου: του Studio One, στην ειδικότητα του personal training στο κομμάτι της Αθλητικής Τραυματολογίας και των Ειδικών Πληθυσμών, αλλά και στη συγγραφή και έκδοση βιβλίου με τη συμμετοχή του καθηγητή Dr V.Zelev με θέμα ασκήσεις με Swiss Ball σε ασθενείς με δισκοπάθεια.

Αριθμεί πολλές δημοσιεύσεις και έχει υπάρξει ομιλήτρια σε δεκάδες συνέδρια.

Έχει εκπονήσει διδακτορικό τίτλο με θέμα : την αντιμετώπιση του αντανακλαστικού πόνου στην οσφυϊκή μοίρα της σπονδυλικής στήλης σε ασθενείς με δισκοπάθεια.

Physiorebirth is a modern private physiotherapy center located in Kallithea, offering comprehensive rehabilitation, prevention, and wellness services. The center's objective is the holistic restoration of motor function, pain relief, and improvement of each patient's quality of life through individualized physiotherapy and exercise programs. Alifierakis Giannis is a Specialist Rheumatologist and maintains two clinics, one in Nea Smyrni (within the Top Meds multi-clinic) and one in Daphne (within the Alpha Prolipsis multi-clinic). He completed his medical studies at the "La Sapienza" University Medical School in Rome. He has experience as a trainee in rheumatology clinics in Germany, at the Rheumazentrum Ruhrgebiet in Herne, a teaching center of Bochum University, as well as at the rheumatology clinic of Immanuel Krankenhaus, a teaching center of the Charité Medical School in Berlin. The final part of his training took place at the rheumatology clinic of the Athens hospital "Georgios Gennimatas," and in 2024 he obtained his specialty title. Previously, he served as a trainee in internal medicine at the 1st Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Chania "Agios Georgios." He is currently attending the postgraduate program "Leadership, Innovation and Value Policies in Health" at the University of West Attica.

Κατόπιν χρόνων εκπαίδευσης και εξειδικεύσεων απέκτησε ευρεία γνώση στην χειρουργική και συντηρητική αντιμετώπιση των παθήσεων του κεντρικού/περιφερικού νευρικού συστήματος και σπονδυλικής στήλης και ακολουθεί πιστά τα διεθνή δεδομένα στην Νευροχειρουργική επιστήμη. Dr. Sarantis Mixalis, MD, MSc, PhDc, is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a private practice in Psychiko. Concurrently, he serves as an Orthopedic Consultant specializing in Sports Injuries at Metropolitan Hospital. He has extensive experience, having completed his specialization at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" and the 4th Orthopedic Clinic of G.N.A. KAT, while also specializing at the same hospital in the Hand-Upper Limb-Microsurgery Clinic, the Sports Injuries Department, and the Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic. In 2018, he successfully completed advanced training in pediatric orthopedic trauma and pediatric skeletal deformities at the Orthopedic Hospital Speising (Vienna, Austria). Since 2019, he holds a Master's degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases - Osteoporosis" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2020, he was appointed as a doctoral candidate by the Medical School of Athens, and since then he has been pursuing his doctoral thesis at the 2nd Orthopedic University Clinic of the University of Athens (Konstantopouleio Hospital – Agia Olga). He is an active member of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), the European Society for Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the Hellenic Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (EEHOT), and the Athens Medical Association. Finally, he has a rich academic portfolio, authoring numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals (PUBMED) and actively participating in presentations at Greek and international conferences.

Dr. Georgios Tsakotos MD, MSc, PhD Orthopedic Surgeon - Assistant Professor, Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Georgios Tsakotos was born in Tripoli, Arcadia. After completing secondary education in Tripoli, he was admitted to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2006 to 2012, he trained as an Orthopedic Surgeon at the 4th Orthopedic Clinic of "KAT" Hospital. He has received further training abroad in sports medicine, arthroscopic and reconstructive orthopedic surgery. He has participated, presenting papers and lectures, in numerous medical scientific conferences in Greece and abroad. He has authored and published over 100 research scientific articles in peer-reviewed international medical journals. He holds a distinction as Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Medical School of Athens, a Master's degree (MSc) in metabolic bone diseases – osteoporosis from the Medical School of Athens, is a member of the Hellenic Osteoporosis Foundation (EL.I.OS.), the Hellenic Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (E.E.CH.O.T.), the Hellenic Arthroscopy Society, the Hellenic Society of Anatomy and Surgical Anatomy, is a Full Member of the European Hip Society, a Member of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA), Member of European Knee Associates (EKA), and an Associate Member of ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine). He serves as Assistant Director and Orthopedic Surgeon at the "METROPOLITAN" Hospital, in the Sports Injuries and Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgery department. He is Assistant Professor at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Nada Zin - Euaggelidis Mixalis is based in Nea Smyrni. Mixalis is a graduate Physiotherapist (member of P.S.F.), an Acupuncturist with postgraduate studies (MSc) in England. He obtained a Master of Chiropractic from the Ackerman College Stockholm. He followed further training in Medical Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture in England, Auricular Acupuncture with the Nogier method, Korean Microacupuncture method (UK), and Si Yuan - Balance Method in Switzerland. He also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at OMC. His research focus is on Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain and its management through acupuncture and scientifically validated contemporary and traditional methods. Fatouros Andreas is a Physiotherapist who operates a private physiotherapy clinic in Paleo Faliro. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia and is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists (PAP). He has attended a seminar program on acupuncture at the David G. Simons Academy. Additionally, beyond his basic degree, he has completed postgraduate studies in the field of Manual Therapy with recognition from the global federation IFOMPT. For the past 16 years, he has been working as a physiotherapist in the private sector, specializing in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, and spinal disorders. I am Mr Nektarios K. Mazarakis, a neurosurgeon and complex spinal surgeon fully trained in the UK and Ireland. I am an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and provide medical services in Athens and Thessaloniki.

My practice is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care in neurosurgery and spinal surgery, with particular focus on complex spinal disorders, neuro-oncology, and minimally invasive approaches.

Troupi Eleni is a Physiotherapist with a private rehabilitation physiotherapy clinic in Nea Smyrni. She holds a degree from the Department of Physiotherapy at the Athens University of Applied Sciences. She trained at Savonlinna Hospital University Hospital in Finland and subsequently began her postgraduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia. During 2009-2010, she obtained a diploma in neuro-reflex therapy (Manual Neurotherapy) under Nico Pauli, while simultaneously training in acupuncture for musculoskeletal issues, Trigger Point Therapy, as well as mobilization techniques of the spine and peripheral joints (Manual Therapy) using Mulligan and McCarthy techniques. She is also involved in the ultrasonographic evaluation of peripheral joints with musculoskeletal ultrasound. Finally, she has participated in numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops in Greece and abroad and is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists, the Panhellenic Union of Physiotherapy Laboratory Technicians, and the European Society of Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation.
