Κατά την παραμονή του εκεί απέκτησε μια τεράστια εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση που ελάχιστοι χειρουργοί στην Ευρώπη κατέχουν, και ανέλαβε τον Τομέα του Σαρκώματος στην Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας.
