Όταν ξεκίνησα ψυχοθεραπεία, ήθελα όχι απλώς μια ειδικό, αλλά έναν άνθρωπο που να με ακούσει πραγματικά. Η συγκεκριμένη θεραπεύτρια από την αρχή με έκανε να νιώσω ότι έχει χώρο για μένα, χωρίς να με κρίνει, χωρίς να με πιέζει. Ο χώρος ήταν ζεστός, ήσυχος, ανθρώπινος, και κάθε συνεδρία είχε τον δικό της ρυθμό – δεν ένιωσα ποτέ βιασύνη ή τυπικότητα. Αυτό που μου άρεσε ιδιαίτερα είναι ότι δεν μου έδινε έτοιμες απαντήσεις, αλλά με βοηθούσε να δω μόνος μου τι χρειάζομαι. Ένιωσα σεβασμό, αποδοχή, ειλικρίνεια. Αν με ρωτούσε ένα κοντινό μου πρόσωπο, θα την πρότεινα ανεπιφύλακτα – όχι γιατί «λύνει προβλήματα» μαγικά, αλλά γιατί συνοδεύει τον άλλον σε μια ουσιαστική, δική του διαδρομή. Αυτό για μένα είναι πολύτιμο.

Αρχικά είχα άρνηση και έπειτα δυσκολευόμουν πολύ να βρω έναν ειδικό, ώστε να τον εμπιστευτώ για θέματα που θεωρούσα πως μπορούσα να λύσω μόνος μου, τα οποία τελικά προσπερνούσα με τις καθημερινές ασχολίες. Η Κατερίνα από την πρώτη κιόλας στιγμή με έκανε να νιώσω πολύ οικεία χάρη στην αυθεντικότητά της, την ευγενική της φυσιογνωμία και τον πολύ λεπτό τρόπο που χειρίζεται τις υποθέσεις.
