Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα αφορούν όλες τις παθήσεις των πνευμόνων: ΧΑΠ, Βρογχικό άσθμα, χρόνιος βήχας, λοιμώξεις του αναπνευστικού, Καρκίνος του Πνεύμονα, πλευριτικές συλλογές ,φυματίωση , διακοπή καπνίσματος, υπνική άπνοια και είναι συγγραφέας πολλών πρωτότυπων άρθρων σε έγκριτα ελληνικά και ξένα περιοδικά τα οποία μπορούν να αναζητηθούν στην Διεθνή Ιστοσελίδα των δημοσιεύσεων της Ιατρικής Επιστήμης (PUBMED) ,όταν πληκτρολογηθεί στον φακό αναζήτησης, το όνομά της στα αγγλικά (DAMIANAKI ANGELIKI). Είναι ομιλήτρια και πρόεδρος σε πολλά συνέδρια και στρογγυλές τράπεζες. Μέρος της ερευνητικής της δουλειάς εκτίθεται με την μορφή posters στο ιατρείο της. Έχει παρουσιάσει πάνω από 130 εργασίες της σε Διεθνή και Πανελλήνια συνέδρια. Επιπροσθέτως, είναι μία από τους τέσσερις συγγραφείς της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Υπνολογίας που εκπόνησαν μαζί με τους συγγραφείς της Ελληνικής Αναισθησιολογικής Εταιρείας τις εθνικές μας οδηγίες για την περιεγχειρητική διαχείριση ασθενών με υπνική άπνοια. He has also worked at the 9th Pulmonology Clinic of the General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases of Athens "SOTIRIA" and as a B Consultant in 2022, and subsequently in 2023 at Iaso Hospital, as a Consultant in the Pulmonology Clinic. He has attended numerous postgraduate seminars and has participated in similar scientific conferences in Greece and abroad. He is a member of the Hellenic Respiratory Society. Finally, his expertise in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Respiratory Infections, and Asthma should not be overlooked.
