Είναι επίσης μέλος της Ελληνικής και της Ευρωπαϊκής Πνευμονολογικής Εταιρείας, ενώ ασχολείται ενεργά με τον εθελοντισμό αφού συμμετέχει με ομάδα ιατρών της Ελληνικής Πνευμονολογικής Εταιρείας στον ετήσιο Διάπλου της Ομάδας Αιγαίου σε ακριτικά νησιά του Αιγαίου Πελάγους προσφέροντας ιατρικές υπηρεσίες σε ασθενείς με αναπνευστικά προβλήματα.
