Rebalance - Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Koukaki is a fully equipped facility offering a friendly and comfortable environment where physiotherapeutic treatment and a supportive approach are provided for all types of musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions. My name is Dimitrios Tzouras and I am a physiotherapist specializing in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation as well as human body performance – ranging from elite athletes to everyday individuals seeking better movement and a life without pain.

I hold a University degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Thessaly, a Master's Diploma in Kinesiology from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science (T.E.F.A.A) of Serres, part of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a specialization in analysis and programming of human movement.

I also studied at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science at Democritus University of Thrace.

I hold a Manual Therapy Diploma from H-OMTeDu (IFOMPT) and certification in McKenzie mechanical diagnosis and therapy from the Hellenic Institute.

In parallel, I have attended seminars in Greece and abroad in: Mulligan, Clinical Pilates, Re-Thinking Rotator Cuff Rehabilitation, Management of the complex Shoulder, Spine Rehabilitation, Ergon IASTM, PNF Advance, Strength & Conditioning, Specified instructor in Function Cross Training, and have participated in numerous scientific workshops and conferences.

Due to my scientific expertise, I am a frequent invited speaker at T.E.F.A.A Thessaloniki, where I teach courses on Manual Therapy Techniques and Core Stability.

I have worked at Formula Medicine Italy in preparing and rehabilitating high-level athletes (volleyball, skiing, football, basketball, swimming) and with racing drivers from Formula 4 to Formula 2.

Piskopaki Sofia is a Physiotherapy graduate from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, since 2014, and a registered member of the HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) as well as the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists. She operates a physiotherapy center in Heraklion, Crete. In 2017, she completed her Master's program titled "Orthopedic Science and Rehabilitation" with a focus on Manual Therapy at the University of Nicosia. In her pursuit of new physiotherapy techniques, she completed studies in sports rehabilitation through Clinical Pilates and subsequently attended a series of seminars on sports rehabilitation (Sports Physio) at HOMTD in Attica. Her master's in orthopedic rehabilitation motivated her to deepen her knowledge in acupuncture, leading her to complete studies in 2019 entitled "Acupuncture for Health Professionals" at the University of West Attica (PADE). Later, she earned the title of specialized clinical acupuncture instructor. From 2021 to 2024, she served as Director of the Physiotherapy Department at the Metropolitan College of Heraklion. Since December 2022, she holds the OMT (Orthopaedic Manipulative/Musculoskeletal Therapy) qualification from the internationally certified educational organization Hellenic OMTDiploma (IFOMPT approved). Her clinical experience began in 2015, working alongside renowned physiotherapists in Athens who supported her active engagement in the physiotherapy field as well as in seminar education. Consequently, in 2022, she decided to start as a freelancer in Heraklion, Crete, in a 330 sqm facility in Agios Ioannis with 4 treatment rooms and 2 gyms (therapeutic exercise and clinical Pilates). Certified seminars are also held at the same location in collaboration with Hellenic OMTDiploma (IFOMPT approved).

Gerasimos Kavvadias is a Physiotherapist and the scientific director of the Model Physiotherapy Center “Anelixis Physio Clinic” in Kallithea. He graduated from the Physiotherapy department of the Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece and completed his internship at the Asklepieio Hospital of Voula. Concurrently, he is attending the postgraduate training program for Physiotherapists of the Hellenic OMT Diploma. Additionally, he has worked as a Physiotherapist in private physiotherapy clinics in Athens, focusing on musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation. He has also collaborated with a private physiatry medical practice and a sports club. At Anelixis Physio Clinic, musculoskeletal problems are approached by applying specialized techniques, such as the Mulligan therapeutic approach and the McKenzie method.

Mpoukouvalas Nikolaos Ph.MD is a Physiotherapist who operates a private clinic in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Athens University of Applied Sciences and received further training in the United Kingdom. The clinic facilities are housed in a privately owned 250-square-meter space spread over two levels with internal access between floors. The treatment rooms are fully designed and equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to address both the simplest and the most complex and rare conditions. There are personal therapy rooms for each patient to ensure privacy, as well as rooms equipped with the latest technology devices. Additionally, there is a hydrotherapy room featuring a large whirlpool bath and a specialized room for massage and acupuncture. Finally, the laboratory accepts referrals and collaborates with all major insurance funds and organizations.

Polyzakis Nikolaos is a Physiotherapist who operates a private clinic in Thessaloniki. He studied Physiotherapy at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, from which he graduated in 1994. The combination of his theoretical training with his many years of experience enables him to effectively manage all types of cases within the scope of physiotherapy. Depending on the patients' therapeutic needs, in addition to the clinic setting, home visits are also available.

Tzaninis Vasilis is a Physiotherapist who provides home visits. He is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica. He has significant experience and is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions (Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, etc.), postoperative rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy, sports injuries, and migraines.

The Modern Physio Path Physiotherapy Center is located in Paleo Faliro. It is a contemporary and comprehensive physical rehabilitation unit, housed in a specially designed and fully equipped space. The experienced, certified physiotherapists Michalis Strigos and Vaggelis Alexandridis provide excellent quality services, with the fundamental principle of complete patient recovery. Their process begins with taking the patient's history, followed by evaluation, treatment proposal, and rehabilitation. Authinos Konstantinos My Physio, PT, MSc, is a Physiotherapist with a private physiotherapy clinic in Agia Paraskevi. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Medical School of Semmelweis University in Budapest and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. His studies were completed in the English-language departments of these universities, making him highly proficient in English. He has worked as an assistant physiotherapist at HYGEIA Hospital and the National Rehabilitation Foundation for the Disabled in Ilion. From January 2012 until 2018, he was an Associate Physiotherapist at the Model Center for Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation of Mr. Georgios Il. Goudevenos. He has participated in the development of a study entitled "Chronic Low Back Pain: The Role of Rehabilitation," which was presented at a conference of the Medical School of the University of Crete in 2012. Finally, the clinic is certified for EMS shockwave therapy - SWISS DOLORCLAST Method, as well as being a certified center for dynamic K LASER therapy.

Physioworx is a modern physiotherapy center located in Argyroupoli. A space fully equipped with a comfortable and friendly environment. Karanastasis Stauros Msc - Physioworx Physiotherapy holds a master's degree (MSc) from the Medical Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a graduate of the Physiotherapy Department of the University of Patras as well as the Democritus University of Thrace (Department of Physical Education and Sport Science) with a specialization in Training and Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Injuries & Diseases.

He has many years of experience working in physiotherapy and rehabilitation centers.

Ntatsis Xaris is a Physiotherapist who operates a physiotherapy clinic in the Chalandri area. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Patras. He has specialized in Manual Therapy (Chiropractic Techniques), Sports Injuries, Acupuncture, Kinesiotherapy, and Therapeutic Exercise at Karolinska University in Sweden. With many years of experience in the field of physiotherapy, his goal is to provide a comprehensive physiotherapeutic approach by applying individualized treatments to all patients. By taking a detailed history and assessing the patient's clinical condition, he develops a rehabilitation program that is entirely tailored to each individual in order to achieve the best possible outcome. He is an external scientific collaborator at OAKA and private clinics and manages the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, sports, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, while also providing home-based therapies. Finally, he is a regular member of the Hellenic Association of Physiotherapists.

Stamatiou Dauid-Aggelos and Malama Andromachi are specialized physiotherapists and have been operating the physiotherapy clinic ActivePhysioCenter in Kallithea, Attica, since 2019. We are graduates of the Department of Physiotherapy at the Athens University of Applied Sciences (ATEI). Subsequently, we specialized at the Association of Manual Therapists Physiotherapists of Greece (S.F.X.E.-I.F.O.M.T.) in Manual Therapy - Chiropractic methods and Dry Needling, and in Biomedical Acupuncture (EFEA), respectively. At the ActivePhysioCenter Physiotherapy Clinic, we aim for a holistic approach to musculoskeletal and neurological cases, relying on careful and thorough patient history-taking and evaluation to ensure that the therapeutic approach is targeted and individualized.

Ergotherapei - Center for Special Therapies is located in Galatsi. The founders and scientific supervisors of the Center are Dimitra Efthymiou, a qualified occupational therapist, and Georgia Paschali, a qualified speech therapist.

Ergotherapei Center is a specialized therapeutic facility focusing on the assessment and intervention of neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with motor, neurological, developmental, psychosocial, and learning difficulties. The center offers specialties in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Special Education, Early Intervention, and Psychological Support for children. Sapika Panagiota is a Physiotherapist who operates a private physiotherapy clinic in Neo Iraklio. In her fully equipped facility, she offers a wide range of services addressing musculoskeletal conditions in both acute and chronic stages, sports injuries, neurological disorders, application of kinesiotaping, and postoperative rehabilitation such as hip and knee arthroplasty, meniscus tears, cruciate ligament injuries, and more. Athanasiou Martha is a Physiotherapist. She holds a degree from the Department of Physiotherapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Patras and completed her clinical practice at the Attica General Hospital KAT. She is specialized in exercise, certified as a Pilates Instructor (AF Studies - PMA), in Clinical Pilates (KEDIVIM Epimorfosis - EOPPEP), and as a Personal Trainer (HNFC - NASM). Additionally, she holds a diploma in Biomedical Acupuncture from the University of West Attica and has been trained in Manual Therapy at a school certified by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT), deepening her expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders. Currently, she is a postgraduate student at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, enrolled in the program "Algology: Pain Management - Diagnosis and Treatment - Pharmacological, Interventional, and Other Techniques," aiming at the treatment of acute and chronic pain. She has worked in physiotherapy centers, private clinics, and provided home-based therapies. Her goal is the management and treatment of acute and chronic pain through a holistic and individualized physiotherapeutic approach. Through comprehensive medical history taking and detailed clinical evaluation, she designs and implements personalized treatment programs tailored to the needs and objectives of each patient, aiming to improve functionality and quality of life.
