Terpou Ioannis DDS, MSc

Terpou Ioannis graduated with honors in 2013 from the Lyceum of the "Hellenic-German Education" and was admitted the same year to the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens through nationwide entrance examinations. During his studies, he developed a particular interest in periodontology, which he cultivated both academically and clinically.

After graduating in 2019, he completed his military service in the Navy and subsequently worked primarily in the field of periodontology and the surgical management of periodontal diseases.

In 2021, after successful entrance examinations, he began the three-year postgraduate program in periodontology and implantology at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, one of the few programs worldwide accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology.

During his specialization, he actively participated in numerous conferences, as well as specialized training seminars focusing on modern surgical techniques (e.g., Microsurgery), training alongside distinguished clinical and academic physicians.

In 2024, he successfully completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded the title of Periodontist-Implantologist by the committee of the European Federation of Periodontology.

He currently practices in Athens, providing personalized care with an emphasis on contemporary, evidence-based periodontal and implantological therapy, while maintaining close ties with the University of Barcelona in academic activities, either as a participant or as an instructor.
