Η Στάμου Σταυρούλα γεννήθηκε, μεγάλωσε και σπούδασε στην Αθήνα. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών μετέβη στην Γερμανία, όπου κι ειδικεύτηκε στην παιδιατρική. Δούλεψε ως ειδικευόμενη στις παιδιατρικές κλινικές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών νοσοκομείων σε διαφορετικές πόλεις του κρατιδίου της Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας (Universitätsklinikum Essen, Helios Klinikum Wuppertal, AMEOS Klinik Oberhausen Sterkrade, Helios Klinikum Duisburg) αποκτώντας γνώση και εμπειρία σε όλους τους τομείς της παιδιατρικής και κυρίως στη νεογνολογία και τη διενέργεια υπερήχων. Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε σε μεγάλο παιδιατρείο στο Düsseldorf αποκτώντας έτσι εμπειρία στις διαφορετικές απαιτήσεις της εργασίας του ιατρού της κοινότητας. Στην διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής της πορείας έλαβε μέρος σε πολλά μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια (επείγουσα παιδιατρική, διενέργεια υπερήχων, αξιολόγηση ηλεκτροεγκεφαλογραφημάτων, διασωλήνωση και αερισμός παιδιών και νεογνών, μητρικός θηλασμός, ιατρική διατροφής παιδιών και νεογνών) αλλά και συνέδρια παιδιατρικής κι εφηβιατρικής. Έχει υπάρξει υπεύθυνη προσαρμογής ειδικευομένων στην κλινική κι εκπρόσωπός τους. Έχει διεξάγει μαθήματα για τους εκπαιδευόμενους νοσηλευτές και παρουσιάσεις για τους παιδιάτρους. Το φθινόπωρο του 2021 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα. Διατηρεί ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι Αττικής κι είναι συνεργάτης της παιδιατρικής κλινικής του νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και συνεργάτης των πολυϊατρείων Medifirst. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνη παιδίατρος των βρεφονηπιακών σταθμών στο Ζωγράφου. Είναι παντρεμένη και μητέρα δύο παιδιών. Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών όπως και του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Βόρειας Ρηνανίας και Βηστφαλίας (Ärztekammer Nordrhein). Είναι μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Παιδιατρικής και Εφηβικής Ιατρικής (DGKJ), της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Νεογνολογίας και Παιδιατρικής Εντατικής Θεραπείας (GNPI) και της Επαγγελματικής Ένωσης Παιδιάτρων και Εφήβων Γερμανίας (BVKJ). Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Συλλόγου Ιδιωτών Ιατρών Βόρειας Ρηνανίας (KV Nordrhein).
