He returned from abroad in 1985 and was appointed Chief Ophthalmologist Grade A at the Athens Eye Hospital. From 1986, he worked at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor until 1992. He gained particular expertise in Sjogren’s syndrome through collaboration with the Internal Medicine Clinic and Professor Ch. Moutsopoulos. He has authored three dissertations, over 50 foreign-language scientific publications, and more than 150 Greek publications. From 1992, he served as Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Blue Cross for fifteen years. He currently performs surgery at the specialized Ophthalmology Clinic Hypapanti tou Christou.

Nikitopoulos Georgios is a Pediatric and Adult Ophthalmic Surgeon maintaining private practices in Patissia and Nea Penteli. Kardara Eugenia MD is an Ophthalmologist who maintains a private practice in Vrilissia. Αναγορεύτηκε Διδάκτορας της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων το 2020 με διδακτορική διατριβή επί του γλαυκώματος και βαθμό άριστα καταρρίπτοντας το ρεκόρ μικρότερης ηλικίας γιατρού με διδακτορικό (28 ετών). Εργάζεται από το καλοκαίρι του 2023 ως χειρουργός οφθαλμίατρος στο ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο επί της οδού Ασκληπιού 38 στη Λάρισα και χειρουργεί στην οφθαλμολογική κλινική του ΙΑΣΩ Θεσσαλίας. Έχει ήδη μεγάλη πείρα σε επεμβάσεις κερατόκωνου : cross linking και Kerarings , ενώ διενεργεί με μεγάλη επιτυχία όλες τις επεμβάσεις αφαίρεσης γυαλιών: femtoLASIK, PRK, ICLφακικοί ενδοφακοί και refractive lensectomy. Είναι ένας από τους πρώτους ευρωπαίους οφθαλμίατρους που εκπαιδεύτηκε το 2025 από την ALCON στην Βαρκελώνη σε ένθεση των premium ενδοφακών της Alcon Vivity και Panoptix με τη χρήση του digital marker VERION προσαρμοσμένου επί του μικροσκοπίου Luxor Revalia. Όλος ο παραπάνω ο εξοπλισμός είναι πλέον σε πλήρη χρήση στο Ιασώ Θεσσαλίας. Η προηγμένη αυτή τεχνική αποσκοπεί στην πλήρη απαλλαγή από γυαλιά σε κάθε απόσταση μετά από επέμβαση καταρράκτη. Στις 10/9/2025 τοποθέτησε σε ασθενείς τους πρώτους στην κεντρική Ελλάδα ενδοφακούς Alcon Clareon Vivity προ της επίσημης κυκλοφορίας τους στην ελληνική αγορά. Αποτελούν πρωτοπόρο τεχνολογία κατασκευασμένη στις Η.Π.Α. ικανή να προσφέρει ταυτόχρονα άριστη μακρινή και κοντινή όραση, με στόχο την πλήρη απαλλαγή από κάθε γυαλί όρασης, χωρίς παραγωγή δυσφωτοπικών φαινομένων.

Vergados Athanasios is an Ophthalmologist and maintains a private clinic in Ampelokipoi. Upon completing his medical studies, he specialized at the First University Ophthalmology Clinic (G. Gennimatas - KOFKA). In May 2014, he was awarded a PhD in Ophthalmology for his research project titled "Preperimetric lesions in pseudoexfoliative Glaucoma" from the Medical School of the University of Athens. Subsequently, he further specialized in the United Kingdom at the second largest ophthalmologic hospital in Europe (Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre). Following his specialization, he was appointed Director of the Glaucoma Department at the James Paget University Hospital in the East Anglia region. In 2017, he moved to London, where he was appointed at Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest hospital complex in England. He worked as a glaucoma specialist at Whipps Cross University Hospital and was head of the Glaucoma and Emergency Department. He also served as the lead physician for glaucoma treatment at Newham University Hospital. He is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK), GMC (UK), UKEGS (member of the United Kingdom Glaucoma Society), BEECS (British Emergency Eye Care Society), British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society. Additionally, he is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society, and the European and Hellenic Glaucoma Societies.

Filip Gkampriela - Monika is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Koukaki. She holds a medical degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. Additionally, she has worked as a Surgical Ophthalmologist at the Athens Eye Clinic. She is specialized in myopia laser treatment, cataract surgery, and macular degeneration. Toulia Paraskeui MD, FEBO is an Ophthalmologist who maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in ophthalmology. Dr. Koutsonas Antonis MD, FEBOphth is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Kifisia. He holds a Doctorate and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Aachen in Germany. He served for several years as a Consultant in the Department of Vitreous and Retinal Diseases at the University Ophthalmology Clinic of Aachen (2014-2022), where he specialized in the surgical management of vitreoretinal diseases and cataracts (vitreoretinal and cataract surgeon). Additionally, following European Ophthalmology examinations, he obtained the European Ophthalmology title FEBO (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology). He possesses extensive clinical experience in prominent positions and has performed over 2200 pars plana vitrectomy surgeries for a wide range of vitreous and retinal diseases, 600 cataract and intraocular lens implantations, as well as more than 5000 intravitreal injections. He has significant research experience, having participated in numerous multicenter studies on various ophthalmic conditions, acting as principal investigator in several, and is trained in the principles of good clinical practice. He has published numerous articles in internationally renowned ophthalmological scientific journals and actively participates in international conferences. Finally, he has been involved in clinical research in the fields of glaucoma, electrophysiology, and the surgical treatment of vitreous and retinal diseases.
