He specialized in Ophthalmology at Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder) Hospital in Germany and at the 2nd Ophthalmology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. Additionally, he completed paid advanced training in the Department of Strabismus, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Pediatric Ophthalmology at the University Clinic of Giessen in Germany and is a PhD candidate at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen in Germany. He is an academic fellow at the 2nd Ophthalmology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He has considerable experience in strabismus and cataract surgery.
