Terzakis Athanasios MD, MSc

Dr. Terzakis Athanasios is a Neurologist maintaining a private practice in Thessaloniki. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he obtained his Medical Degree during the period 2009 - 2015. Subsequently, he pursued postgraduate studies at Democritus University of Thrace, where he has been attending the MSc program focusing on Vascular Cerebral Incidents since 2021 to date. In 2024, he earned his Medical Specialty title in Neurology. He served as a neurology resident physician at the 2nd Neurology Clinic of the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki AHEPA from 2018 to 2023. In 2018, he served as a unit physician at the 111 Combat Wing. During his military service, he worked as an internal assistant at the Neurology Clinic of the 251 Air Force General Hospital in Athens from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, in 2017, he served as a unit physician at the Air Force Recruitment Center. From 2016 to 2017, he completed rural service as a primary care physician at the Argalasti Health Center and the Trikeri Regional Clinic. Moreover, as part of his ongoing professional development, Dr. Terzakis has attended and participated in numerous scientific conferences, such as the 34th and 33rd Panhellenic Neurology Congresses, as well as the 31st held in 2020. He has also taken part in the 10th and 9th Panhellenic Congresses of the Hellenic Academy of Neuroimmunology, as well as the 6th and 7th congresses of the same academy. He also participated in the 10th Panhellenic Congress of Vascular Cerebrovascular Diseases and the 11th Winter Workshop on Movement Disorders.
