Pappis Harilaos

Pappis Xarilaos is a Breast Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has received further training in Germany, France, and Belgium. He holds a specialization in Robotic Surgery from the IRCAD University Center in Strasbourg and has extensive experience in advanced surgical fields such as laparoscopic, robotic, and bariatric surgery. He has served as the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Euroclinic Athens and since 2010 has been the Director of the 3rd Surgical Clinic at HYGEIA Hospital. He is an active member of the scientific community with a strong presence at international and Greek conferences, and has served as President and Organizer of significant scientific meetings, including the International Laparoscopic Experts’ Meetings and the Panhellenic Congress on Bariatric Surgery. He is the President of the Hellenic Surgical Society for Obesity, General Secretary of the Hellenic Laparoscopic Society, and a Fellow of international scientific organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He represents Greece at the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).
