Ο Ναλμπαντίδης Γεώργιος είναι Γαστρεντερολόγος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Τόσο κατά την ειδίκευση του όσο και μετά, ανέπτυξε σημαντικό ενδιαφέρον στην έρευνα και διδασκαλία της Γαστρεντερολογίας. Συμμετείχε ως βοηθός ερευνητή σε κλινικές δοκιμές φάσης ΙΙΙ και IV και στα Μετεκπαιδευτικά Φροντιστηριακά Μαθήματα της Ελληνικής Γαστρεντερολογικής Εταιρείας. Το 2008 έλαβε μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα Ειδίκευσης στην "Ιατρική Ερευνητική Μεθοδολογία" και κατόπιν παρακολούθησε ειδικά προγράμματα για ερευνητές σε κλινικές δοκιμές, υπό την αιγίδα του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και Cambridge University Hospitals καθώς και προγράμματα Στατιστικής και Επιδημιολογίας. Έλαβε μέρος σε μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια της Ελληνικής Γαστρεντερολογικής Εταιρείας και της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Μελέτης Ήπατος καθώς και σε σεμινάρια ειδικών ενδοσκοπικών επεμβάσεων. Πέραν της βασικής γαστρεντερολογικής παιδείας συμμετείχε σε εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για Πρώτες Βοήθειες και Καρδιοαναπνευστική Αναζωογόνηση σε παιδιά και ενήλικες, λαμβάνοντας τα αντίστοιχα πτυχία. Έχει αναπτύξει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για τις Λειτουργικές παθήσεις του Πεπτικού και συμμετείχε σε σεμινάρια Κινητικότητας και Αισθητικότητας του Πεπτικού και τα τελευταία 5 έτη έχει παρακολουθήσει περισσότερα από 30 ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια και ημερίδες. Τέλος, ο γιατρός είναι μέλος πολλών ελληνικών και διεθνών επιστημονικών συλλόγων και εταιρειών.
