Aleksopoulos Dimitris BSc, MSc is a Psychologist - Psychotherapist who maintains a private practice in Kifisia. He holds a degree from the Department of Psychology at the University of Crete. He possesses a Master's degree in "Psychology of Physical Education and Sports" from the University of Thessaly, while simultaneously receiving training in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the four-year program of the Society of Cognitive-Behavioral Studies (IEΘS). He has pursued further education in the School Psychology Program at the University of the Aegean and has specialized within the framework of Organizational Psychology in the postgraduate program "Human Resources Management and Organizational Analysis" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has extensive collaboration with counseling structures and frameworks, where he provides individual psychotherapy and counseling services. Additionally, he cooperates with muscle-strengthening facilities, organizing seminars, events, and conferences focusing on the connection between mental health and sports. Concurrently, he collaborates with schools, delivering lectures addressed to educators, parents, and students on contemporary issues of the school community. In the past, he has worked with a social reintegration structure, providing psychotherapeutic support to formerly incarcerated individuals in their efforts toward social reintegration. His primary concern is empathy towards the client, active listening, understanding their needs, and the gradual establishment of a healthy therapeutic relationship founded on trust. Therefore, through guidance in techniques for managing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, the aim is to promote the mental health and well-being of the client.
