Tina Alexiou is a trained Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, offering psychotherapy to adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. She works both in-person, and online at her practice in Larisa, Greece, in English and in Greek, as she is native to both.
Born and raised in New York, Tina earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College, N.Y. In 2012, she relocated to Greece, where she pursued advanced studies in Clinical Psychology, obtaining her Master's degree from the University of Indianapolis (Athens Campus) in 2014. Deepening her expertise, she completed a four-year training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the European Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2025.
Her personal empathic approach grounded in psychodynamic principles facilitates her patients explore and understand unconscious patterns and early experiences that may be influencing their current thoughts emotions and behaviors.
Committed to her professional development, Tina participates in ongoing clinical supervision, and regularly attends seminars and psychoeducational forums which deepen her knowledge of psychodynamic psychotherapy.
