Karavela Fani is a Psychologist with a private practice in Koukaki. She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Psychology, in 2005. During her studies, she volunteered for two summers at the Psychiatric Hospital of Leros and completed a six-month voluntary internship at the Thessaloniki unit for individuals with addictions, providing psychological support to them and their families. After completing her studies, she worked at the "NIKI" Association, a model nursery for children with special needs and pervasive developmental disorders. Subsequently, she transitioned to the business sector, working for one year in a private company before departing for postgraduate studies in London, where she completed an MSc in Social & Organizational Psychology at the LSE. Upon returning, she started her own business in collaboration with her brother, which has maintained a successful 12-year trajectory.
Her passion for psychology and people motivated her to return to education three years ago, pursuing a four-year course culminating in specialization in Gestalt Psychotherapy. Concurrently with her studies, she volunteers at the counseling helpline for parents and children, "TOGETHER FOR THE CHILD," and manages individual online sessions with adult clients. She acknowledges that education is an ongoing journey and therefore ensures to attend additional seminars and has incorporated systematic private supervision into her practice.
