Κατά την παραμονή του εκεί απέκτησε μια τεράστια εμπειρία και εξειδίκευση που ελάχιστοι χειρουργοί στην Ευρώπη κατέχουν, και ανέλαβε τον Τομέα του Σαρκώματος στην Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας. Παράλληλα, συνεχίζοντας αμείωτα το ακαδημαϊκό, ερευνητικό και επιστημονικό του έργο, έλαβε το 2021 τον Τίτλο του Τακτικού Καθηγητή Χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Χαϊδελβέργης, όντας ο νεότερος σε ηλικία χειρουργός που λαμβάνει αυτόν τον τίτλο.

Πρόσφατα, εκλέχθηκε Τακτικός Καθηγητής Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου .

He is certified in advanced laparoscopic surgery by IRCAD France in Strasbourg. He is a member of numerous Greek and international surgical scientific societies and the American College of Surgeons. He has participated as an invited speaker at many international and national conferences. He maintains a private practice in Agia Paraskevi and performs surgeries at private hospitals in Athens.

Sarris Georgios MD, MSc is a General Surgeon - Proctologist, Deputy Director of the 3rd Surgical Clinic at Errikos Dynan Hospital, with a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He has completed postgraduate studies in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery. He received further training in the minimally invasive management of anorectal disorders (Laser LHP, SiLaC, FiLaC) in Germany, as well as in Laparoscopic Surgery. Zafeiris Platon is a General Surgeon - Proctologist who maintains private practices in Pikermi and Peristeri. He holds a medical degree from the Universita di Medicina e Chirurgia di Bologna in Italy and specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and the Hellenic Police. He trained in Laparoscopic Surgery, Proctological Surgery, and the use of laser at the Universita di Medicina Torino. He is an associate of the Athens and Peristeri Medical Center, Hygeia Hospital, and Mitera Hospital. Additionally, he was the Head of the Surgical Department at the General Clinic "Taxiarchai" and the General Clinic "Neo Athinaio." Currently, he serves as the Scientific Director of the Surgical Department at the Lumedica Medical Group (Peristeri Clinic). Furthermore, he is the author of the book "Trauma - Traffic Accidents" and has delivered lectures at conferences as well as on television and radio stations. Minor procedures are also performed in his private practice (cyst removal, nevus excision, wound suturing, examination and removal of skin lesions), all using laser technology.
