Markopoulos Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a private practice in Marousi. Την πιστοποίηση αυτή ακόμα και σήμερα κατέχουν ελάχιστοι Έλληνες oρθοπαιδικοί χειρουργοί. Έχει ασχοληθεί επισταμένα με το αντικείμενο του ώμου και έχει δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα σχετικά επιστημονικά περιοδικά, ενώ είναι και τακτικό μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρείας Ώμου-Αγκώνα (SECEC/ ESSSE).
