Ταυτόχρονα με την ειδικότητα της Ορθοπαιδικής παρακολούθησε και το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με τίτλο "Άθληση και Υγεία", με εξειδίκευση στη διάγνωση και θεραπεία των αθλητικών κακώσεων. Μετά το τέλος της ειδίκευσης του, βρέθηκε στη Νέα Υόρκη στο επί σειρά ετών Νο 1 Νοσοκομείο των ΗΠΑ για ορθοπαιδικές παθήσεις, το Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York, USA, όπου και εξειδικεύτηκε στη επανορθωτική χειρουργική ισχίου και γόνατος ως Academic Visitor to 2019, συμμετέχοντας σε πολυάριθμα ερευνητικά πρωτόκολλα και στην αντιμετώπιση πολύπλοκων περιστατικών του τμήματος SNF Complex Joint Reconstruction Center. Έπειτα έλαβε την επίσημη έμμισθη θέση εξειδίκευσης της Μ. Βρετανίας στη χειρουργική ώμου και αγκώνα (post C.C.T. Clinical Fellowship) στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα κέντρα Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham 2020-2021 και Royal Orthopaedic Hospital 2021-2022 όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνικές αρθροσκόπησης και αρθροπλαστικής ώμου και αγκώνα, πραγματοποιώντας πολυάριθμες επεμβάσεις τόσο στο γενικό πληθυσμό όσο και σε επαγγελματίες αθλητές. Έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πληθώρα εγχώριων και διεθνών επιστημονικών συναντήσεων ενώ έχει λάβει πολλαπλές υποτροφίες από εγχώριες και διεθνείς επιστημονικές εταιρείες, έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει στην εκπαίδευση φοιτητών Ιατρικής στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, καθώς και στο University of Birmingham, MBChB. Ιδιαίτερο επιστημονικό ενδιαφέρον του αποτελούν η αρθροσκοπική χειρουργική ώμου και γόνατος, η ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας επανορθωτική χειρουργική μεγάλων αρθρώσεων (γόνατος/ισχίου/ώμου) καθώς και η ορθοπαιδική έρευνα. Από το 2022 έχει επιστρέψει στην Ελλάδα, διατηρεί ιατρείο στην Αθήνα και στην Τρίπολη, χειρουργεί στα Νοσοκομεία του Ομίλου Υγεία HHG και έχει σαν στόχο την παροχή υπηρεσιών υψηλού επιπέδου για τους ασθενείς του.

Dr. Diakatos Andreas is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Ilioupoli. He was born in Athens. He began his specialty training in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Asklipiio Voulas Hospital. For two years, he trained in Microsurgery at KAT Hospital and for one year in Pediatric Orthopedics at the same hospital. In 2014, he obtained the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology specialty certification and has been practicing privately since then. He is currently affiliated with Hygeia Hospital, where a significant number of robotic surgeries are performed, a cutting-edge technology in knee and hip arthroplasty within this specialty. Finally, it would be remiss not to mention his training in Bologna, Italy, under Professor Maurilio Marcacci, as well as in Leeds, United Kingdom.

Ο Δρ. Κασιμάτης Γεώργιος MD, PhD, FEBOT, FEBHS είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός με ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο Νέο Ηράκλειο και το Μαρούσι. Μετά την ειδικότητά του ολοκλήρωσε το Διδακτορικό του στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών με "Άριστα" πάνω στη σπονδυλική στήλη. Εξειδικεύθηκε σε μεγάλα κέντρα του εξωτερικού πάνω σε επεμβάσεις αποκατάστασης των οστών και των αρθρώσεων και έλαβε τον τίτλο του “Fellow” από την Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Ορθοπαιδικής και Τραυματολογίας (FΕΒΟΤ) κατόπιν γραπτών και προφορικών εξετάσεων. Στη συνέχεια και για μια πενταετία ασχολήθηκε με το ‘Ανω Άκρο – Μικροχειρουργική και το 2012 κατόπιν γραπτών και προφορικών εξετάσεων που διεξήγαγε ο επίσημος φορέας της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης για τη Χειρουργική του Χεριού (FESSH/UEMS) στην Αμβέρσα (Βέλγιο), πιστοποιήθηκε στη Χειρουργική του Χεριού ως “Fellow of the European Board in Hand Surgery” (FEBHS). Την πιστοποίηση αυτή ακόμα και σήμερα κατέχουν ελάχιστοι Έλληνες oρθοπαιδικοί χειρουργοί. Έχει ασχοληθεί επισταμένα με το αντικείμενο του ώμου και έχει δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα σχετικά επιστημονικά περιοδικά, ενώ είναι και τακτικό μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρείας Ώμου-Αγκώνα (SECEC/ ESSSE). Στο ιατρείο του ο κάθε ασθενής ανεξάρτητα με την ηλικία του έχει τη δυνατότητα να ενημερωθεί για την πρόληψη-θεραπεία ορθοπαιδικών παθήσεων, σύμφωνα με τις πλέον σύγχρονες και εξειδικευμένες μεθόδους. Ο Δρ. Κασιμάτης Γεώργιος, FEBOT, FEBHS έχει σημαντική εμπειρία σε περιστατικά αρθροσκοπήσεων και αρθροπλαστικών (γόνατος, ισχίου, ώμου), ενώ αναλαμβάνει παιδιά με ορθοπαιδικά προβλήματα, καθώς και ασθενείς με προβλήματα μυοσκελετικής ογκολογίας. Τα τελευταία χρόνια ασχολείται ιδιαίτερα με τις νεότερες τεχνικές ελάχιστης παρεμβατικότητας για τη θεραπεία των μυοσκελετικών παθήσεων και κακώσεων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων της αρθροσκόπησης, της διαδερμικής οστεοσύνθεσης, αλλά και των αρθροπλαστικών ταχείας ανάρρωσης (Fast-Track Arthroplasty).
