Έπειτα έλαβε την επίσημη έμμισθη θέση εξειδίκευσης της Μ. Βρετανίας στη χειρουργική ώμου και αγκώνα (post C.C.T. Clinical Fellowship) στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα κέντρα Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham 2020-2021 και Royal Orthopaedic Hospital 2021-2022 όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνικές αρθροσκόπησης και αρθροπλαστικής ώμου και αγκώνα, πραγματοποιώντας πολυάριθμες επεμβάσεις τόσο στο γενικό πληθυσμό όσο και σε επαγγελματίες αθλητές. Στην συνέχεια ξεκίνησε να συνεργάζεται στενά με την εργατική ομοσπονδία της Γερμανίας (Berfufsgenossenschaft) ως D-Ärztin, στην αντιμετώπιση και περίθαλψη ατόμων με εργατικά ατυχήματα. Είναι εκπαιδεύτρια στο Advanced Trauma Life Support Course (ATLS) από το 2016, και από το 2011 δραστηριοποιείται ως γιατρός επειγόντων (Notärztin) στα ασθενοφόρα του αντίστοιχου γερμανικού ΕΚΑΒ. Το 2021 ξεκίνησε να ασχολείται παράλληλα με την χειροπρακτική (Manuelle Medizin/Manual Therapy) και το 2022 έλαβε την πιστοποίηση ως χειροπρακτικός από την αντίστοιχη γερμανική εταιρεία (MWE & DGMM, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Manuelle Medizin). Επιστρέφοντας στην Ελλάδα έχει ως στόχο να παρέχει στους ασθενείς της, τις πιο σύγχρονες τεχνικές διάγνωσης και θεραπείας, με βάση τα διεθνή πρότυπα.

Dr. Kakkos Georgios is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a private practice located in Neo Iraklio. He holds a medical degree from the School of Health Sciences at the University of Patras and specializes in arthroplasty. The doctor has extensive experience in osteoporosis, total hip and knee arthroplasty, and microsurgery of the hand. He specialized at the General Hospital of Attica KAT and obtained his General Surgery qualification at the Thia Pronoia Hospital "The Pammakaristos." He serves as a Senior Consultant in the Orthopedic Clinic of the Errikos Dynan Hospital Center and is the lead physician of the Orthopedic Department at the Municipal Clinics of Iraklio, Attica. Additionally, he is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, and the Hellenic Osteoporosis Foundation.
