Παράλληλα συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικές κλινικές της Αθήνας, πραγματοποιώντας επεμβάσεις καταρράκτη και διαθλαστικής χειρουργικής.

Η ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευσή του στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία περιλαμβάνει την αντιμετώπιση στραβισμού, αμβλυωπίας και άλλων διαταραχών της παιδικής όρασης.

Στο πλαίσιο της διδακτορικής του διατριβής ασχολήθηκε για αρκετά χρόνια με τις παθήσεις της ωχράς κηλίδας σε ενήλικες, μελετώντας την κλινική πορεία των ασθενών, εφαρμόζοντας ενδοϋαλοειδικές ενέσεις και παρακολουθώντας τα θεραπευτικά αποτελέσματα.

Η κλινική και χειρουργική του δραστηριότητα επικεντρώνεται σήμερα στη χειρουργική καταρράκτη, στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία, καθώς και στις σύγχρονες θεραπείες παθήσεων της ωχράς κηλίδας.

Papadopoulos Konstantinos is an Ophthalmologist, Director of the 1st Ophthalmology Clinic at Metropolitan General, and the scientific head of the Glaucoma Ophthalmology Institute. He maintains his private practice in Pefki. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague and has trained at the University Clinic of G. Gennimatas. Είναι, ακόμα, κάτοχος του Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος (MSc) «Διοίκηση Υπηρεσιών Υγείας και Διαχείριση Κρίσεων» του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου (2017). Κατά το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2013-2014, εκπαιδεύτηκε στον τομέα της Γενικής Οφθαλμολογίας στην Οφθαλμολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Ludwig-Maximilian’s (L.M.U.), Μόναχο της Γερμανίας. Εργάστηκε, επίσης, ως Ερευνητικός και κλινικός συνεργάτης στο Ελληνικό ΄Ίδρυμα Υγείας (Hellenic Health Foundation) υπό την εποπτεία της Καθηγήτριας των Πανεπιστημίων Αθηνών και Harvard κας Αντωνίας Τριχοπούλου στα προγράμματα ‘’Consortium on Health and Ageing: Netwotk of Cohorts in Europe and the United States” και ‘’Υδρία’’. Eίναι ιδρυτικό μέλος της Διεθνούς Εταιρείας Έρευνας της Αλληλεπίδρασης Ψυχικών και Σωματικών Νοσημάτων. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε σημαντικό αριθμό ξένων και ελληνικών συνεδρίων, καθώς και ξενόγλωσσων και ελληνικών δημοσιεύσεων. Τέλος, διατελεί Διευθυντής του τμήματος Νευρο-Οφθαλμολογίας στο Athens Eye Hospital.
