Ο Διονύσιος Τριανταφύλλου MD, MSc, PhDc, FEBO είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με εξειδίκευση στις παθήσεις και τις επεμβάσεις του κερατοειδούς και του προσθίου ημιμορίου. Διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην Βούλα. Η ακαδημαϊκή του πορεία ξεκίνησε από την Κτηνιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας (2008) και συνεχίστηκε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (2013). Από το 2024, παρακολουθεί το δεύτερο μεταπτυχιακό του στο ΕΚΠΑ με τίτλο «Αντιμετώπιση Διαθλαστικών Εκτροπών και Διαθλαστικές Επεμβάσεις». Διαθέτει σημαντική ερευνητική εμπειρία, έχοντας συμμετάσχει ως co-investigator σε ευρωπαϊκά clinical trials, ενώ έχει συμβάλλει ενεργά στην εκπαίδευση ως εκπαιδευτής σε wet labs της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Καταρράκτη και Διαθλαστικής Χειρουργικής (ESCRS) και του μεταπτυχιακού πργράμματος "Χειρουργική του Οφθαλμού" στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης.
