Στο πλαίσιο της διδακτορικής του διατριβής ασχολήθηκε για αρκετά χρόνια με τις παθήσεις της ωχράς κηλίδας σε ενήλικες, μελετώντας την κλινική πορεία των ασθενών, εφαρμόζοντας ενδοϋαλοειδικές ενέσεις και παρακολουθώντας τα θεραπευτικά αποτελέσματα.

Katsiampoula Vasiliki MD, PhDc is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Neo Psychiko, Athens. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and specialized in Ophthalmology at the General Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" and at the 1st University Ophthalmology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G.
