Since 2016, she has been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society, with the majority of her presentations and lectures at ophthalmology conferences as well as her publications in Greek and international medical journals focusing primarily on pediatric ophthalmology topics. Finally, she has participated in translations of English ophthalmological texts into Greek.

Gaki Stergiani FEBO is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Ophthalmologist with a practice located in Nea Smyrni, near the central square. She studied at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specialized in ophthalmology at the Charite Augenklinik University Clinic in Berlin and at the University Clinic of Cologne, Germany, where she gained significant experience in General Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology.
