Fyrmpas Georgios served as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) and undertakes the examination and surgical treatment of children and adults. He has trained and completed further specialization in the United Kingdom for five years and has worked as a specialist Otolaryngologist for a total of 17 years. He was admitted to the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki through nationwide exams. He obtained his degree, a postgraduate specialization diploma, and completed his doctoral dissertation at the same university. He was awarded the Diploma of Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England with a specialization in Head & Neck Surgery. His further training includes specialization in Otology/Otologic Surgery (Bradford Royal Infirmary), Rhinology/Rhinosurgery (Derriford Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust), as well as minimally invasive treatment methods for salivary gland diseases (University ENT Clinic of Erlangen, Germany). He has worked as an ENT Consultant in the Oncology ENT Department of Theageneio Anticancer Hospital, at Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki, and at Papapolychroniou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He is the author of international publications and scientific papers, a trainer in hands-on workshops, and a speaker at scientific conferences. He undertakes the surgical management of children with otitis media with effusion, hypertrophic tonsils, snoring, otitis, and has specialized expertise in parotid gland surgery, submandibular gland surgery, laryngeal surgery, rhinoplasty and paranasal sinuses, as well as surgery for cholesteatoma and chronic otitis media. He also performs oncologic excision and reconstruction of skin carcinomas on the face. He maintains his practice in Neapoli, Thessaloniki.
