Έχει συμμετάσχει ως εθελόντρια ψυχολόγος (2023–2024) σε ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα του οργανισμού SciCo (Science Communication), με αντικείμενο την επίδραση της εκπαίδευσης STEM στην τρίτη ηλικία, όπου είχε την ευθύνη χορήγησης και αξιολόγησης ψυχομετρικών εργαλείων (BAI, GDS, MMSE, QOLS).

Είναι τακτικό μέλος του Συλλόγου Ελλήνων Ψυχολόγων (ΣΕΨ) (Α.Μ. 3346) και επενδύει συστηματικά στη συνεχή επιμόρφωσή της, έχοντας παρακολουθήσει πληθώρα εξειδικευμένων εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων σε ζητήματα ψυχικής υγείας (μεταξύ άλλων: Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου, Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο, ΚΕΘΕΣΥ, Πανεπιστήμιο Yale, Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο).

Στο πλαίσιο της επαγγελματικής της πρακτικής, λαμβάνει συστηματική εποπτεία, διασφαλίζοντας την ποιότητα και την επιστημονική εγκυρότητα των παρεμβάσεών της.

Στην κλινική της πρακτική, υποστηρίζει άτομα που αντιμετωπίζουν άγχος, κρίσεις πανικού, έντονη συναισθηματική φόρτιση, δυσκολίες στις σχέσεις, ζητήματα αυτοεκτίμησης και ορίων, καθώς και προκλήσεις της καθημερινότητας που επηρεάζουν την ψυχική ισορροπία.

Δίνει ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη δημιουργία μιας θεραπευτικής σχέσης που βασίζεται στην ασφάλεια, την αποδοχή και τον σεβασμό. Μέσα από μια συνεργατική και δομημένη προσέγγιση, βοηθά το άτομο να κατανοήσει τα μοτίβα σκέψης και συμπεριφοράς του, να αναπτύξει πιο λειτουργικούς τρόπους διαχείρισης και να κινηθεί προς μια ζωή με μεγαλύτερη ισορροπία και νόημα.

Aggelopoulou Dimitra is a Psychologist - Psychotherapist and maintains a private practice in Ilion. She has presented her work at numerous conferences, founded an experiential workshop for primary school children in Ithaca, and was co-founder of a cultural and educational association for children.
