Marianna Kanaki is a Mental Health Counsellor. She has a diploma in Mental Health Counselling from the Centre for Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling and a degree in Social Theology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In addition, she has a Diploma of Specialized Training in Counseling Intervention for Children of Infancy, Childhood and Adolescence from the Interdisciplinary Network of Specialization of Mental Health Professionals (DDEPSY) in collaboration with Veneti Counseling and a certificate of specialization "Certified Training in Counseling" from the University of Ioannina. In addition, she has conducted distance learning (e-learning) courses at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens entitled "Paediatric Therapy: Theoretical Approaches, Practical Applications and Experiential Exercises" and "Positive Psychology: The Science of Happiness". She did her internship as a Mental Health Counsellor at the Roots Welleness Center in Athens, and until today she works at the Center for Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling in Kallithea, Attica. Finally, she has attended numerous seminars and is a regular member of the Hellenic Counselling Society.
