Kaima Katerina DDS, MSc, MOrth is an Orthodontist with private practices in Peristeri ("Orthodontic Clinic" - next to Anthoupoli Metro Station) and Nikaia ("Contemporary Dental" - next to Nikaia Metro Station), where she exclusively deals with the full spectrum of Orthodontics.
She obtained her Dental Surgery degree in 2016 (DDS). In September 2018, she began her Orthodontic specialty training at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. The three-year specialty program included both clinical practice with a wide range of patients and research activities. In 2021, after submitting her thesis titled “Does the use of lateral cephalometric radiography increase the reliability and accuracy in localisation of ectopic maxillary canines?”, she graduated with distinction, earning the Master's degree "Master of Science (MSc) in Orthodontics." Simultaneously, after passing the examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, she received the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) title.
From September 2021 to September 2022, she worked at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester and the orthodontic clinic at Countess of Chester Hospital.
The Orthodontist is certified in the Invisalign technique (clear aligners – invisible orthodontics) and is a member of the Dental Association of Attica (DAS), the Society of Orthodontics & Craniomaxillofacial Study & Research (EOΓME), the British Dental Association (GDC), the British Orthodontic Society (BOS), as well as the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) – Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England).
