Dr. Zenia Saridaki-Zora is a Medical Oncologist with clinical practice in Athens and Crete. She serves as the Director of the 1st Oncology Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital in Neo Faliro and is the Scientific Director of the Oncology Department at "Asklipios Diagnosis," as well as a collaborator with the private clinic "Asklipieion of Crete" in Heraklion, Crete. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete, specialized in Medical Oncology, and holds a PhD from the same institution. She received further training at the University of Oxford and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Human Genetics and the Department of Digestive Oncology. In her clinical practice, she emphasizes meaningful communication and a trusted relationship with the patient and their family. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors, with experience in gastrointestinal, lung, breast, and pancreatic cancers. She applies personalized therapeutic strategies based on molecular analysis and biomarker utilization and participates in research protocols and international clinical trials. She has served two terms as President of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncologists. She is the Coordinator of the Working Group for the creation of the National Registry of Patients with Neoplastic Diseases and contributed to the update of the reimbursed biomarker list by EOPYY (10/2025). Internationally, she holds leadership positions in global oncology organizations and scientific societies (ASCO, ESMO, ECO).
