Για τέσσερα έτη εργάστηκε ως Επιμελήτρια στο Ογκολογικό Τμήμα του Βενιζέλειου Νοσοκομείου Ηρακλείου, ενώ μέχρι και σήμερα συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικές κλινικές, το Ασκληπιείον Κρήτης και την Creta Interclinic. Η ιατρός έχει πλούσιο διδακτικό, συγγραφικό, κοινωνικό και πολιτιστικό έργο καθώς και ενεργό συμμετοχή σε διεθνή και εθνικά επιστημονικά συνέδρια και συνδράμει εθελοντικά σε πρωτοβουλίες στο χώρο της υγείας μέσα από αρκετούς συλλόγους και ΜΚΟ. Τέλος, είναι μέλος της Εταιρείας Ογκολόγων Παθολόγων Ελλάδος, της Ευρωπαϊκής Ογκολογικής Εταιρείας και της Αμερικανικής Ογκολογικής Εταιρείας.
