Maria Zozolou MD, PhD, FEBO is a Ophthalmic Surgeon who maintains private practices in Kallithea, Marousi, and Piraeus. She specializes in refractive surgery and cataract surgery. With many years of experience in the use of advanced laser technologies and premium intraocular lenses, she provides comprehensive management of refractive errors and high-level care for patients with cataracts. Since 2015, she has been a key member of the medical team at the Athens Vision Eye Institute, where she is clinically and surgically active across the full spectrum of anterior segment disorders. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holds a specialty in Ophthalmology from the General Hospital of Nikaia “Agios Panteleimon,” and obtained the European FEBO title in Paris in 2014. In 2015, she completed the “Grigoris P. Georgariou” Clinical and Surgical Fellowship in Refractive Surgery and Cataract Surgery. In 2019, she was awarded a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a dissertation in the History of Medicine.
