Interventional gastroenterologist Konstantopoulos Panagiotis, after many years of professional experience abroad, has been the scientific director of the Gastroenterological Endoscopic Unit at the Athens Medical Residence since April 2022. During his stay in the Netherlands, he worked as a consultant at ADRZ Goes hospital where he performed over 3,000 endoscopies and had the opportunity to specialize in innovative techniques for the removal of large gastrointestinal polyps (endoscopic mucosal resection, chromoendoscopy) using advanced artificial intelligence devices. He served as a member of the scientific board of Admiraal De Ruyter Ziekenhuis hospital in the Netherlands as well as being responsible for scientific protocols and the endoscopy department, head of the outpatient gastroenterology clinics at Admiraal De Ruyter Ziekenhuis hospital, where he managed a large number of cases with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) as well as numerous patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease – Barrett's esophagus, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and hemorrhoids. Following successful examinations at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis University Hospital in Utrecht, he was appointed responsible for screening the Dutch population for colorectal cancer (Bevolkingonderzoek accredited). The physician has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad, is a member of scientific societies in Greece and the Netherlands, has a large number of publications in reputable medical journals in Greece and internationally, and has been a member of the Athens Medical Association since 2001, upon graduation from Medical School.

Papadopoulou Iliana MD, MSc, PhD, FEBGH is a Gastroenterologist maintaining a private practice in Patras. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with postgraduate studies in Health Unit Management (Hellenic Open University) and holds a doctoral degree from the Medical School of the University of Patras. She has obtained the European Specialty Diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ESEGH) and has additionally trained in ultrasound and interventional endoscopy through international hands-on courses. She possesses extensive clinical experience in both the public and private sectors, having served as head of the endoscopy unit in a diagnostic center, while maintaining a private practice. She has worked in tertiary care hospitals, completing her specialty training at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the National Cancer Institute "Metaxa". Her scientific activity includes publications in international journals, participation in national and international conferences as a speaker and author of studies, while continuously pursuing further education in the fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Koukias Nikolaos is a Gastroenterologist with a private practice in Patras. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and received further training at renowned digestive endoscopy centers at the Royal Free Hospital in London and Jichi Medical University Hospital in Japan. He specialized in the Gastroenterology Clinic of the University Hospital of Patras. He worked for four years in London, initially as a Clinical and Scientific Associate and later as a Consultant in the University Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic at the Royal Free Hospital. Within the framework of his research work, he has participated in 26 publications in international scientific journals, while to date, 301 scientific publications (journals and books) have cited the results of his work. He is a member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Kosmidis Xaralampos is a Gastroenterologist and maintains a private practice in Cholargos. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of Semmelweis University in Budapest and specializes in inflammatory bowel diseases and endoscopic gastroenterology. He completed his specialty training in Gastroenterology at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of "Laiko" Hospital. He completed his studies in 6 years and was commissioned as an officer in the Air Force (Pilot Officer). Dr. Athiana Ilektra is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and maintains her private practice in Thessaloniki. She studied Medicine at Democritus University of Thrace. Subsequently, she specialized in Pediatrics in Sweden and further specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University Hospitals of Uppsala in Sweden as well as Basel in Switzerland. She has served as Senior Registrar A in the Pediatric Gastroenterology Clinic at the Pediatric University Hospital of Uppsala and also has professional experience as an assistant physician in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the same University Hospital. She collaborates with the Saint Lukas Clinic, the General Clinic of Thessaloniki, and is a Scientific Associate of the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of Aristotle University (Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki). She is a member of the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) endoscopy teaching faculty and maintains active collaborations with foreign hospitals.
