Dr. Ioanna Kalkounou was born in Athens and raised in Nafplio. She attended the Medical School of the University of Athens after successfully passing the nationwide entrance examinations, graduating in 2004. Subsequently, she completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Tripoli (Nephrology Unit). In 2011, she worked as a scientific collaborator in the Dermatology-Allergology Clinic at the Charite University Hospital in Berlin. Georgios Taxias is a Dermatologist - Venereologist who maintains private practices in Pefki and Kifisia. The thesis was completed under the supervision of Professor Antonis Vareltzidis.She has contributed to numerous Greek and international scientific publications and is a member of the Athens Medical Association (ISA) and the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (HSVD).
