Xondropoulos Spyros is a Hematologist and maintains a private practice within the Central Medical Park Polyclinic in Kallithea. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and obtained his hematology specialty title at the University General Hospital "Attikon" in 2012. He served as a Hematology Registrar at the Transplantation Unit of the University Hospital of Patras as well as at the Hematology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas" in Athens. Since 2020, he has been a Hematology Registrar at the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at PGN Attikon.

Additionally, he holds a doctoral degree and is a PhD holder from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, actively participating in the education of undergraduate medical students as well as teaching in postgraduate programs.

He specializes primarily in hematologic malignancies with a particular scientific interest in cellular therapies.

Apsemidou Athanasia MD, MSc, PhDc is a Specialist Hematologist maintaining a private practice in Kalamaria and Evosmos. She graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), followed by postgraduate studies titled "Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies" at the same university's Medical School. Since 2025, she has been a PhD candidate (PhDc) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the Polytechnic Department of "Biomedical Engineering." From 2019 to the present, she has worked as a Hematologist at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and at the AHEPA University General Hospital in Thessaloniki. Since 2024, she has served as an academic collaborator at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

Vessalas Georgios, Specialist in Adult and Pediatric Hematology. Former Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Agia Sofia Children's Hospital.

Kanavos Georgios is a Hematologist with a private practice located in Ilisia. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specializes in thromboembolic disease, thrombophilia conditions (both hereditary and acquired), and hematology in pregnancy. Στη συνέχεια εργάσθηκε στο ΕΣΥ, αρχικά, σαν Επιμελητής και στη συνέχεια σαν Δ/ντής της Αιματολογικής Κλινικής του ΓΝΑ « Γ.Γεννηματάς».Μετέβη στο FRED HUTCHINSON CANCER RESEARCH CENTER (FHCRC) , στο SEATTLE, USA, για μετεκπαίδευση στις αυτόλογες και αλλογενείς μεταμοσχεύσεις ασθενών με αιματολογικά νοσήματα.Διετέλεσε υπεύθυνος Μονάδος Μεσογειακής Αναιμίας και υπεύθυνος Μονάδος αυτόλογης μεταμόσχευσης αιματολογικών ασθενών στο ΓΝΑ «Γ.Γεννηματάς».Το κύριο ερευνητικό του ενδιαφέρον είναι τα μυελοδυσπλαστικά σύνδρομα και ιδιαίτερα οι νεώτερες ταξινομήσεις – προγνωστικά συστήματα, οι σύγχρονες θεραπευτικές προσεγγίσεις και προγνωστικοί παράγοντες ανταπόκρισης στις νέες θεραπείες. Επίσης ασχολείται με τις νοσοκομειακές λοιμώξεις ουδετεροπενικών αιματολογικών ασθενών, με ανακοινώσεις σε ελληνικά και ευρωπαϊκά συνέδρια.Εχει διατελέσει κύριος ερευνητής (ΡΙ) σε πάνω από 10 φάσης ΙΙ-ΙV κλινικές μελέτες και subinvestigator σε πάνω από 15 φάσης Ι-ΙΙΙ κλινικές μελέτεςΤέλος, ο ιατρός είναιreviewer αιματολογικών ιατρικών περιοδικών,έχει πάνω από 70 δημοσιεύσεις σε ξενόγλωσσα ιατρικά περιοδικά, πάνω από 450 ανακοινώσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια καθώς και 150 συμμετοχές σε ομιλίες ή στρογγυλές τράπεζες.

Hematologist Dr. Garypidou - Vratskidou Vasileia is an Emeritus Professor of Pathology - Hematology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She was born in Katerini, graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and holds specialties in Pathology and Hematology. She received honors both in her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She underwent further training in the Hematology Department of the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London, in the General Hematology Unit and the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. For many years, she was head of the Hematology Department of the 2nd Propaedeutic Pathology University Clinic at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Hippokration" (a department that monitors and treats patients with all benign and malignant hematological diseases) and of the Hemophilia Center of Northern Greece (the only adult center in Northern Greece for hereditary disorders of hemostasis). Dr. Garypidou has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of hematological disorders such as anemias of various etiologies, Mediterranean and sickle cell anemia, acute and chronic leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic syndromes, and lymphadenopathies. Additionally, she manages conditions involving high or low white blood cells, high or low platelets, elevated hematocrit, bleeding tendencies, thrombophilia, thromboses, anticoagulant therapy, and hematological and thrombotic complications during pregnancy, among others.

Aikaterini Benekou, MD, is a Consultant Hematologist with extensive experience in clinical hematology and the management of hematologic malignancies. She runs a private practice in the center of Athens (Pedion tou Areos). She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and in 2015 was awarded the Medical Specialty Title in Hematology after completing her training at Laiko General Hospital of Athens.

From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a Hematology Registrar/Consultant at Barts NHS Trust in London, gaining substantial experience in the management of hematologic malignancies and advanced therapeutic approaches. Subsequently, from August 2018 to April 2019, she served as a Consultant Hematologist at Northwick Park Hospital in London, where she specialized in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Since 2019, she has been serving as a Consultant Hematologist (Grade A) at Laiko General Hospital of Athens, while since 2020 she has also been a regular member of the National Committee for the Evaluation and Reimbursement of Human Medicines at the Ministry of Health, actively contributing to the assessment of new medicines based on documented clinical data on efficacy and safety, with the goal of integrating them into reimbursed therapies.

Her research and academic activity is rich, including publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at major scientific congresses. Her main scientific interests focus on stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and modern treatment approaches for lymphomas and leukemias.

Dr. Georgios Dryllis is a Specialist Hematologist and Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica, maintaining private practices in Ampelokipoi, Glyfada, and Pangrati. He holds a PhD in Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a dissertation on "Genetic polymorphisms and pregnancy outcome" and is a graduate of the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace. He has completed postgraduate studies in Oncology at the University of Crete and in Applications in Basic Medical Science at the Medical School of the University of Patras. As part of his specialization, he has worked in the Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Syros, the Hematology Department of the Piraeus General Hospital "Tzaneio," and in the Clinical Pathophysiology and Hematology Clinic at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko." He serves as a Specialist Hematologist - Academic Fellow at the 1st Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko," an External Collaborating Hematologist at "Euroclinic," "Central Clinic," and "Athens Clinic," a Collaborating On-Call Internist at "Central Clinic" and "Athens Clinic," as well as a Physician as an External Collaborator for the Elderly Care Unit "Kosmas o Aitolos" in Perissos. He has an extensive record of publications and participation in scientific conferences with oral presentations and posters. He manages cases covering the entire spectrum of his field, applying his scientific expertise and extensive experience. It would be remiss not to mention his specialization in pregnancy hematology, lymphoma, and leukemia.

Dr. Pessax Ilias is a Hematologist with private practices in Agia Paraskevi and Marousi within the Athens Medical Center. Dr. Pessax was born in Thessaloniki and studied Medicine in Ioannina. Upon completing his specialization in Hematology at the “Laiko” Hospital and his doctoral dissertation, he pursued further training in Israel at one of the world's leading centers for Bone Marrow Transplantation, “Tel HaShomer,” and subsequently worked as a specialist hematologist at one of the largest hemato-oncology centers in the United Kingdom, the Royal Marsden. Following this, Dr. Pessax worked for several years in Greece as an Academic Fellow at the University of Athens, while also serving as a scientific collaborator at the European University Cyprus. Currently, Dr. Pessax is an Associate Professor of Hematology, practices privately in Athens, is a Hematologist at the Athens Medical Center, and regularly continues to practice medicine in the United Kingdom and Belgium as a specialist Hematologist. Scientifically, he has participated in hundreds of Greek and international conferences with numerous significant presentations, has authored many important scientific articles, and has contributed to the writing of two foreign-language medical books.

Maria Fragkioudaki is a Hematologist and maintains a private practice in Heraklion, Crete. Spyridonidis Aleksandros is a Professor of Hematology at the University of Patras and the University of Freiburg, External Collaborator of the 1st Hematology Clinic at Errikos Dynan Hospital, Director of the Hematology Department, the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, the Institute of Cellular Therapies, the Donor Center "Give Life," and the MSc program “Cell & Gene Therapies” at the University of Patras. He is also the Director of the Hellenic Public Umbilical Cord Blood Bank at I.I.V.E.A.A., while concurrently maintaining a private practice in Ampelokipoi. With an extensive academic and clinical background in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cellular immunotherapy, and oncohematology, he has served as the Leader of the Acute Leukemia Working Party of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and is a certified JACIE Inspector.
