Ειδικεύτηκε ως Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος – Χειρουργός Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου στην Ελλάδα, και συγκεκριμένα στο Ναυτικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Ασκληπιείο Βούλας, και στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία στο Royal Free London, NHS Foundation Trust. Είναι Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών (ερευνητικό έργο στον τομέα της ωτολογίας - ακοολογίας) και έχει διακριθεί για το σημαντικό του ερευνητικό έργο, με πολλές δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά. Επίσης έχει μετεκπαιδευτεί στη χειρουργική ωτός και κροταφικού οστού, στην ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική ρινός και παραρινίων κόλπων στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών «Ο Ευαγγελισμός», καθώς και στη ρινοπλαστική και πλαστική χειρουργική προσώπου στο διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο κέντρο ΩΡΛ - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου του Λίβερπουλ της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Ακόμη, έχει υπάρξει επί σειρά ετών συνεργάτης της μονάδας εντατικής νοσηλείας νεογνών (ΜΕΝΝ) της Γ΄ Πανεπιστημιακής Παιδιατρικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου «Αττικόν», αναλαμβάνοντας τον προληπτικό έλεγχο ακοής των νεογνών με τις πλέον σύγχρονες δοκιμασίες των ωτοακουστικών εκπομπών και προκλητών δυναμικών εγκεφάλου. Είναι μόνιμος στρατιωτικός ιατρός στο Πολεμικό Ναυτικό και υπηρετεί ως Επιμελητής της ΩΡΛ Κλινικής του Ναυτικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών. Συγχρόνως είναι συνεργάτης ιδιωτικών κλινικών της Αθήνας, όπου πραγματοποιεί χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις.
